"Ah!" Sylvia looked shocked. There was no way she could think of something , considering she was just a maid. "That might be true."
Nathan nodded. "Well, that is still up for a debate. However, I will suggest it on the way home. With the specialized weapons, there might be a new path for the blacksmith as well.
"That's why it's not something that one can easily decide. In fact, I know too little regarding the knight itself, so there might be a possibility that I'm unaware of yet."
Sylvia nodded. "If you need anything, please don't hesitate to tell me. I have been asked to help you in any way."
"In that case, do you think the magic weapon has a weakness?" Nathan asked.
"Weakness?" Sylvia tilted her head in confusion. "I don't really understand because I don't even wield a weapon. All I know is that the magic weapon is similar to a normal weapon but with just additional ena. Won't the weakness be the same as normal weapons?"
"Is that so?" Nathan looked down, falling into deep thought.
"Master Nathan." Daz gradually walked to him. "I know it's rude, but may I speak regarding this matter?"
"Sure." Nathan nodded.
"In that case, I'd like to express my concern regarding one problem. It's not really a problem, but the lack of one."
"Yes. And that is due to the magic weapon not being diverse yet. From what we know, there are two variants right now. They are magic spears and magic swords.
"However, people would definitely like to use something else. For example, a hammer or even a bow. In the end, a lot of people are using bows to suppress the aliens, so due to the lack of variety, there aren't many problems for the time being."
"I see." Nathan pinched the bridge of his nose. "Hammer can be considered for now. Regarding the bow, I don't think it's possible to recreate it.
"However, there might not be a need to recreate it in the first place. Instead of a bow, I think it's best to use this." Nathan took out his gun.
"!!!" Daz gasped. "The first magic weapon, Magic Gun."

"If you need something with a longer range, I have actually asked a trustworthy person from the Blacksmith Guild to work on two other weapons similar to guns for mid-range and long-range, respectively," Nathan explained.
"As expected of you, Great Master. To think you have already thought that far ahead. I, Daz, admire you."
Nathan waved his hand, treating it as not a big deal. "Still, for now, we'll only be producing the weapons that people are using the most, which are the sword and the spear.
"Once things have settled down a bit more, we can send out other variants."
"I understand. Thank you very much."
Nathan looked at the other elite knights, who were already standing behind him. "Is everyone done with their daily routine?"
"Yes. We have warmed up." Daz smiled.
"Do you have anything you'd like to say regarding magic weapons?" Nathan tilted his head so that he could look at them.
The elite knights exchanged looks. They didn't know much about the improvement since they had been wielding the same weapons the whole time.
After getting the lack of response, Nathan added, "Anything is fine. How about the trigger? The ena consumption? How hard is it to wield the magic weapon compared to this one? Do you have anything to complain about? Can you control the magic weapon?"
The elite knights didn't say anything yet. It was as if they had the same answer.
One of them ultimately stepped forth. "Reporting to the great master. The weapons are working properly. The ena consumption compared to what we use is understandable.
"It's not hard to wield this weapon, and it's not like we are required to unleash its power all the time. We can hurt or stop a juvenile class even without the ena, so having an additional power to take it down is already welcome.
"Once we get used to the slashing power, in like two or three tries, we don't really have any problems wielding them. After all, we have been training with the same sword or spear for years or even decades. Hence, there's no problem."
Nathan nodded. "I see. That's good then."
To his surprise, the only woman in the group couldn't help but raise her hand. "Great master. May I?"

"And by using the same concept, we can probably apply ena on the armor. With this, the impact you will have to bear is lesser due to some of the force being absorbed by the ena.
"In the end, the magic weapons are for attacking. You still have to dodge the aliens' attack. If you don't, you might die even with your current armor. Hence, magic armor might be the solution. Because it's circulating within the equipment, there's not much ena being released to the air, so the loss is minimal, which allows you to use the armor for a prolonged period.
"However, because this new concept needs some testing first, I can't say for sure when it's going to be ready. I'm sorry, but I can't provide them yet." Nathan explained.
