Fenrir, Anubis, and Jinwu shook their heads immediately. Nidhogg thought for a moment before asking, "Anubis. Can you use your scale?"
Anubis shook his head, understanding why Nidhogg asked for his scale. He wanted to measure her evil deeds to see whether she was honest or not. "At my current level, I can only manifest my scale to judge the sinner's soul. It'll still take some time if I want to judge a living soul."
Nidhogg could only close his eyes. It seemed there was no other choice but to acknowledge it.
He said, "Even though those three have acknowledged you, I still can't put away all my doubts. That's why I will keep observing you. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to dispel my doubt, so I have no choice but to trust you for now. If I see you trying to harm my summoner, you will have to face me."

Nathan shook his head. "Well, while my naming sense is not that bad, I think I should follow your last name. Tamamo no Mae. It's been registered by this world after all. But it's true that it's quite long to pronounce. In that case, how about I call you 'Mae?' It's short but also quite beautiful to pronounce."
"In that case, everyone shall call me Mae. Once again, allow me to formally greet the esteemed Monstrous Wolf, God of Afterlife, Dragon of Chaos, Sun Crow, and Water and Wind Sovereign." Mae lowered her head.

Mae raised five fingers. "Currently, I have five major abilities I will use in most situations. The first is shape-shifting ability. By using this ability, I can freely control my form and size, which will become an advantage in a battle.
"The second ability is my illusion. It has a certain degree of influence on your basic judgment and looks extremely realistic. The third ability is charm. It's extremely limited because of the alien's situation, but it's effective against a human.
"The fourth ability is Divination. Although it's not as powerful as back then, I should be able to sense danger. Still, most of the time, this ability allows me to see one second into the future, which is useful in a battle.
"Last but not least, I have my own ena manipulation."
Fenrir frowned. "You don't sound powerful. Can you even harm aliens ? At least fight a warrior class alien by yourself."
"Will you allow me to show it to you?" Mae asked. "I will just have to attack you once."
"Sure. Try it. It's better to gauge your strength this way." Fenrir agreed without hesitation.
Mae then hit Fenrir by extending her tail, which surprisingly launched him away and forced him to spit blood.
The other divine beasts looked shocked. It didn't pack a lot of strength, but for some reason, Fenrir was getting knocked back.
"What is that?" Fenrir roared before shaking his head as though he noticed something. His body suddenly disappeared and returned to his original position, albeit he had been pushed several meters back and the blood remained the same.
"!!!" Nathan was quite shocked by this power. "Interesting."
Fenrir also noticed he was really injured. "This… You actually injured me?"
"I'll heal you." Anubis waved his hand. "Still, it's quite surprising that an illusion can reach this degree."
"Yeah. I noticed the ena fluctuation earlier." Jinwu nodded. "It was an illusion at first and somehow turned into reality. Although that lass Charlotte has similar power, her mastery is low compared to this one."
Nidhogg nodded in understanding. "I don't have any qualms about her strength either."
Mae explained, "I'm not sure about this Charlotte because I only receive a portion of Master's memory, but I believe I'm utilizing the illusion differently from her.
"Her way of illusion is turning the concept of an illusion into a reality. Meanwhile, my way of illusion is letting your brain recognize it as a reality. In other words, if the brain believes there's such damage, that body will respond according to the illusion.
"Hence, I'm able to alter their judgment as well. This way, I can also apply illusion to my charm technique. So, instead of projecting the illusion into reality, I'm projecting it into your brain.
"Even if it's the alien or the black cell, they still have their own intelligence. Hence, my ability will be effective against them.
"I don't have the absolute power like Fenrir, I don't have healing ability like Anubis, I don't have the special body like Kun and Peng, and I certainly don't have the astounding elements like Nidhogg and Jinwu. However, I can recreate a certain level of their power with my illusion.
"For example, I can recreate the healing ability by making that person's brain think it has been healed. It's not as powerful, but it's enough for first aid."
After hearing the full explanation, Nathan couldn't help but grin from ear to ear. Mae had surpassed his expectations. He was definitely lucky to summon her instead of other kitsunes. After all, Mae was the perfect all-rounder for the team.
