Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts Chapter 906

"Archive of Alienology by Professor Massendora and Elizabeth the Great." The girls looked surprised as they had never heard anything about alienology that this book was talking about.

Nathan nodded. "There is a hidden laboratory regarding the alien. Charlotte said that it's research regarding the alien's history. So, I have been curious about what's going on and it's made by a similar technology to the ancient library. So, even if the aliens go there, they might not be able to find us."

This was actually the second objective of their trip. Although it was good to save Selena's father, Nathan believed they should know more about the aliens themselves. That information would be crucial, especially against the aliens' onslaught.

Nathan had been wondering why the number of aliens in his dream was much higher compared to what the world currently experienced.

He thought of three reasons. The first one was because the aliens would only gradually flood this world with their kin, so the increase would be gradual.

The second reason was that another continent was holding them back as well. Last but not least, the alien might not just launch an all-out attack yet.

If it was the first reason, they still had time to get stronger. In his first dream, he was fearless against a thousand elite class aliens. He understood how terrifying the elite class alien was since it was already his second encounter, so having the heart that didn't fear such a creature meant he had a much higher ability compared to several elite class aliens.

Of course, the rate of his growth was not enough to handle that many aliens yet, but he didn't know when they would launch such an attack.

As for the second reason, he thought about confirming it after defeating the Divine Hand. After all, he would go with the Sleeping Garden to another continent, which might or might not exist.

Last but not least, the real problem was the third reason. He had known that the aliens had supernatural powers that could go beyond one's imagination. That was why there was almost nothing he could do if it was the last reason.

To make sure he knew what to do next, he wanted to know more about the aliens. He knew it wouldn't be enough, but having clues was much more beneficial compared to having no clues.

Nathan explained, "Sorry that I haven't told you guys about this. I originally planned to visit this place on my solo trip or mention it once we're on our way back. But the plan messed up because we encountered an elite class alien so early."

"Let me see the book." Selena extended her hand. Once Nathan gave her the book, she skimmed through it. Apparently, Flora and Noelle looked curious about it.

"Let's see…" Flora squinted her eyes. "The entrance of this place is a volcano, or what was supposed to be a volcano. The magma is nothing but an illusion, so we have to jump straight to enter the laboratory. No wonder people haven't seen it yet. Looking at the map, this should be within the farthest defense line we had before the volcanic eruption."

Noelle nodded in agreement. "To think there is such a ruin. With this kind of trap, will there be aliens hiding inside that place?"

"I'm not entirely sure because it has been hundreds of years." Nathan shook his head. "By the way, it's surprising that you are pretty interested in such a thing, Noelle."

"Well…" Noelle rubbed her cheeks. "We're talking about ruins… unexplored ruins."

Flora nodded in agreement. "All kingdoms are searching for ruins, you know? After all, the ruins are usually storing things from that generation, which might result in getting a lot of beneficial things.

"For example, the ancient library. It's a library that is said to have all the knowledge in the world.

"If not for the fact that they can't grab anything out of that place, the ruins will be ransacked by everyone. That's because the knowledge, information, and record hidden in there is simply too much.

"Then again, you, or more like Charlotte, have excavated it, moving the ancient library to our town. Although no one knows about it, this one fact alone will make the city become famous, as a lot of people want to browse those records. After all, it's not easy to access the ancient library."

"Fair point." Nathan nodded in understanding.

"Yeah. If I'm not wrong, Countess Elezar and Baron Darius have gotten their titles for discovering the ruins." Selena recalled some information. "And the biggest achievement was probably the excavation of the Saint Elleuizala Ruins, where the method of creating the teleportation circle was found. Didn't the person who found it become a duke right away?"

"That's also because that person was strong, so they married him to a princess and made him a duke. That Duke family is still taking royalties from the usage of the teleportation circles."

"I see." Nathan crossed his arms. "In that case, I'm quite curious about the ruins this time. By the way, I have heard the name Charlotte, but I haven't really heard these two names. Does anyone know them?"

"Now that I think about it, you're lacking in common knowledge ," Flora facepalmed.

Selena chuckled and explained calmly, "Elizabeth the Great is talking about the first empress of the Liaystian Kingdom. She is the one who founded the Liestian Kingdom, the total military empress. She establishes their foundation.

"Her son is more famous, I guess. After all, her son is the one using the foundation she has made to unify all the small kingdoms and turn it into a single kingdom under a new name, the Liaystian Kingdom."

"Ohhh!" Nathan didn't expect Charlotte's summoner to be that great. It was no wonder why Charlotte could get all the funds to create the ancient library and gather all those books.

"Her husband is Duke James Pieter Massendora, the great explorer who discovered over 70 ruins in his lifetime. Even the greatest explorer alive right now can only discover 30 ruins in his lifetime, so that record will remain unbroken for a long time," continued Flora.

Nathan blinked his eyes a few times. This was indeed a power couple, he thought. He became even more curious about what kind of thing he would find inside the laboratory.
