"This is…" Selena furrowed her eyebrows.
"I'm afraid the aliens are going to break through any moment." Brunhild raised her spear. She activated her God of Valkyrja. "I'm going to protect all of you. Please clear it fast."
Selena exchanged gazes with Sera. They hurriedly finished up the summoning circles.
It took them 13 minutes to complete such a complex summoning circle, but they didn't have time to be proud of themselves. The longer they waited, the more dangerous it became.
Sera shouted, "Risa, Brunhild. The three of us will be protecting her. Get ready!"
"Yes." They all stepped outside the summoning circle and raised their own ena.

The summoning circle shone, showing that the chant and the summoning circle worked.
"!!!" Sera and the others couldn't help but glance at her, happy that everything worked.
However, the situation might not be as good as they imagined.
The moment the magic circle shone, the three circles began to envelop the offering in golden light.
The blood offering felt like it was dying the light, gradually dyeing it in red.
In addition, the blood vein allowed the red light to start gobbling up the bloodstone that imprisoned Selena's father, turning it into a massive blood bubble.

"Selena!" Sera warned her.
"!!!" Selena noticed that her father's body was falling from the red light. She hurriedly rushed toward him and caught him before his body landed on the ground.
"Toss him to me. I'll take care of him! You should focus on the summoning!" Sera continued.
Although Selena didn't want to do it, she knew this was the only right thing to do. She couldn't afford to have anything mess her summoning up.
She used her spiritual energy to send her father to Sera. The latter caught him gently and put him on the ground, away from the summoning circle.
"His vitals are alright! Don't worry! Focus on the summoning!" Sera hurriedly checked his vitals, showing that he was still alive and assuring Selena.
Feeling relieved, Selena's face turned solemn. She looked at the red light that gradually turned into a cocoon as if forming the familiar's body.
However, they suddenly heard a roar from the ground.
"!!!" Selena remembered the deal she had made with Nathan. If he came up and interrupted her summoning, it meant they had to wait. If Nathan didn't come up, she should proceed with the summoning.
That roar showed that his hard work paid off. There was indeed a hidden danger in this place, so she had to focus on the summoning, not wasting any time.
That roar caused much more harm than she could imagine. After all, the aliens became agitated, causing them to sacrifice their own lives to break through.
And one of them managed to break through.
"Raaa!" A huge, beast-like alien crashed into the wall, shattering it.

Brunhild was the first one to react as she sliced the alien's head. However, the destruction was much more serious than they thought.

"Tsk! Blood net!" Risa raised both palms and tried to patch the hole with a net made of blood, but the aliens rammed their bodies, either breaking through the blood net or crashing into the rest of the wall.

Brunhild waved her spear, cutting down all the aliens that tried to enter.

"!!!" Risa widened her eyes in shock. All of a sudden, the alien at the very front had its body shivering and its movement halted. Then its body snapped in a weird way and gradually turned into a ball before its body exploded, causing the blood inside it to burst.
The blood that burst bounced around like a living spike. They pierced through one alien after another, clearing up all the aliens in this small space in an instant.
This was the first time Risa saw such a level of control in blood.
