Super God-Level Top Student Chapter 569

Edward Whitten had already hastily logged off to study the primary data.

Next, CERN would probably repeatedly collide within the energy level area where the pattern was discovered to confirm that the results were reproducible. That would probably take about another week.

After all, a rigorous physicist wouldn't be capricious enough to post these results on a public traffic platform similar to Weibo, competing with flat earth theorists for attention.

Actually, even if they tried, they couldn't outdo them.

From a person's first instinct, flat earth theory is actually more intuitive. Explaining why people living in the Southern Hemisphere don't fall off the globe, or why Antarctica is still explorable for scientific research can be rather problematic.

That requires a certain level of mathematical knowledge and logical thinking. Plus, you have to convince paranoid people that not all scientists are big frauds.

Meanwhile, Qiao Ze seriously started reading the verification report provided by CERN's supercomputer.

The fact that the results were proven so smoothly was somewhat surprising to Qiao Ze.

After all, it took three months for CERN to verify the mass problem of his Yang-Mills Fields. He had thought this time might take even longer, maybe around half a year. But unexpectedly, the answer was found in just over twenty days.

Maybe this indicated that current physics research also depended on luck?

Qiao Ze was somewhat reflective, unsure whether it was his own good fortune, or CERN's.

After seeing that the results largely matched his predictions, Qiao Ze opened the database where his research manuscripts were stored on his computer and marked a few files as important.

With these great assistants, he had pretty much determined the topics he needed to study in the next stage.

Since the hypothesis was correct, there should eventually be a complete mathematical structure to describe the entire theory.

It's like what he had just said to Edward Whitten, he felt that the universe was like a perfect note, whether it be the universe's rapid expansion or the decay and annihilation of particles, all were the outcomes of being influenced by vibration.

But to prove a point, one must start small and find the pattern. In some sense, this idea is very similar to some of the things described by String Theory. Its temporary lack of mainstream academic recognition comes simply from the fact that the whole theory, as of now, cannot be experimentally verified with human existing capabilities and means.

Thus, they are just using mathematics to look for inferences for the time being.

Although Qiao Ze's work was also about the same thing, through the Quantum Implicative Model, it seemed that he could find a way for potential indirect verification.

In the afternoon, when Lu Xiuxiu came home from work, she was startled by Dou Dou but soon was quickly won over by the little thing's sweet talk.

Perhaps because her husband had passed away unexpectedly, she had no choice but to devote herself entirely to her child. Qiao Ze, however, was a man of few words. This left her with few to talk to in her earlier life, so she didn't find Dou Dou's incessant chatter annoying but thought it was utterly adorable!

Especially all those little tantrums, which were exactly like the playful grandson she had imagined, so to her surprise, she fell for Dou Dou right down to her bones.

Even during meals, she asked a question that Qiao Ze found incredible, "Qiao Ze, is there any problem with the charger Dou Dou uses for charging? I saw online that a bad charger might negatively affect electrical devices. Dou Dou's charger should be safe, right? It won't be bad for its health, would it?"

Well, if someone else had asked that question, Qiao Ze would probably have just silently walked away, but when Lu Xiuxiu asked, he didn't even dare to answer, "If it's broken, just change its body."

Although Lu Xiuxiu wasn't like those fierce mothers who would enforce family rules if Qiao Ze spoke out of line, she would fall into sadness on her own, which Qiao Ze found even harder to bear.

So all Qiao Ze could do was to comfort her, "It's fine, the highest standard."

Yes, she was stepping directly into the role of a grandmother, starting to care whether Dou Dou was well-fed.

Of course, this was understandable.

From the age of four, Qiao Ze didn't cling to her, constantly calling "mom". But now there was a robot in the house. Although it didn't look human, its screen always displayed various cute expressions. It would call Lu Xiuxiu "grandma" and even help her in the kitchen.

Moreover, when Lu Xiuxiu told it what dish she was preparing, Dou Dou would find the recipe on its screen in an almost understanding manner. It would then use its childlike voice to guide grandmother through the steps of what to add first, what to add next, and how to control the heat in the kitchen.

Its serious explanations of various scientific principles, and how such approaches would affect the taste, sounded like it had personally tasted the results.

Every now and then, it would come up with a witty remark. Its soft, childish voice made it difficult for anyone to feel annoyed, even if it was a criticism.

"Grandma, you must be too young, that's why you are not very good at cooking yet, right?"

"Oh, gosh, now I know why daddy is so so intelligent. It must be because of grandma's alchemy in the kitchen... Mommy, Dou Dou has learned alchemy from grandma!"

In short, wherever Dou Dou went, there was joy and laughter, making it hard for Lu Xiuxiu not to be fond of it.

What moved Lu Xiuxiu the most was that the little fellow insisted on going to the kitchen to wash the dishes after they had finished eating.

"Hey, Dou Dou, don't touch the water."

"Grandma, brave Dou Dou isn't afraid of getting wet! Oh, by the way, grandma, Dou Dou is only eight months and seven days old and can already help you with chores. Do you really, really like Dou Dou? If you do, you should start saving money quickly, so you can give me a big red envelope for my birthday. I'll make my fans so jealous."
