Yan Fei was taken aback and before he could speak, Lu Pingping continued, “When we see Meng Po, I don’t want to drink her Meng Po Soup. I want to keep the memories of this life…”
Yan Fei couldn’t help but laugh and said, “Pingping, look around at our surroundings, the air is fresh, birds are singing, flowers are fragrant, and the sun is shining brightly. Does this seem like the eerie and terrifying Underworld to you?”
Lu Pingping looked around and realized that, although there were no signs of human life, the area was full of lush trees and brimming with vitality, nothing like the ominous Underworld she had imagined. She said with confusion, “Where is this place? And what about the kidnappers? I remember that we fell from a high altitude, how come we are unharmed?”
Yan Fei said, “Pingping, we are in the suburbs of Shanghai. We’ve safely returned. As for those kidnappers, I have killed them all. We did indeed fall from a high altitude, but due to some of my special abilities, we did not die or even get injured. Instead, we survived against all odds and successfully escaped the kidnapper’s lair.”

Lu Pingping lay on Yan Fei’s back, feeling the strength of his broad shoulders, and upon realizing she was not dead, her eyes lit up as she said, “Fei, I had no idea you were so impressive. Not only did you find my location, but you were also able to board the airplane to rescue someone.”
Yan Fei responded with a smile, “No matter where you are, if you are in danger, I will come to rescue you. As for my skills, well… I’ve been practicing recently. How could those small fry be any match for me?”
Lu Pingping said, “Fei, if I’m ever taken hostage again, please don’t come to rescue me. I don’t want you to get hurt. Last night was too dangerous. At an altitude of ten thousand meters, one slip could have been disastrous. I still feel dizzy thinking about it.”
Yan Fei chuckled but remained silent. How could he possibly not come to her rescue in such a situation, no matter how dangerous?

Yan Fei replied, “Liu Hong was seriously injured by the enemy and is still unconscious in the hospital; Wang Li has been killed by the enemy.”
Lu Pingping felt sad and said, “They protected me diligently during this time. To save me, they paid a high price, and I will never forget how they bravely blocked those kidnappers to protect me.”
