This figure clad in black landed right at the entrance to the city in the mountains, where the bodies of the Assassin Sect members killed by the drones lay. Yan Fei was shocked. He couldn’t understand why he was feeling dizzy or why the connection with the drone had been severed. But he knew that this was a critical moment. He quickly focused all his attention and managed to reestablish the connection with the drone. With Yan Fei’s guidance, the drone stabilized, and under the control of the Auxiliary Brain, it swiftly launched two AGM-114 Anti-Tank Missiles at Huo Shan on the ground.
But just as the AGM-114 Anti-Tank Missiles were launched, Yan Fei felt dizzy again and found the link to the drone had mysteriously cut off once more. Lacking Yan Fei’s control, the two missiles, having just launched, veered off course and flew erratically, eventually striking nearby mountains, causing intense explosions and creating two deep craters.

That would explain the severed connection with the drone.
