After Laheerman concluded his announcement, Al Jazeera English’s news channel began broadcasting the video of Yan Fei annihilating the Assassin Sect. With its vast and widespread audience, Yan Fei’s two videos appeared before the viewers instantly, causing a massive impact.
In the beginning, Laheerman appeared indifferent, but once he realized the content of the video was the extermination of the legendary Assassin Sect, his face turned pale. As the video played on, featuring extensive bloodshed and slaughter, Laheerman watched with an increasingly ashen complexion. Upon seeing the utter annihilation of the Assassin Sect, he was completely stunned in shock.
Quickly, with the stirring music coming to an end, the first video finally concluded. Witnessing the devastating defeat of the Assassin Sect, and the significant casualties inflicted by the Destroyer, Laheerman turned a ghastly pale. He looked at Yan Fei seated nearby and silently rejoiced that he hadn’t gone against Yan Fei’s wishes, for otherwise, he might have been killed by him right then. Knowing that Yan Fei in the video had killed so many without hesitation, it would have been a simple matter for him to kill Laheerman.
Next, Laheerman began playing the second video, a polished edit of Yan Fei torturing a bearded man. Laheerman had only discovered the Destroyer’s massacre of the Assassin Sect in the first video; though gruesome, the footage was relatively straightforward. Compared to the second video, however, the first one seemed much more normal. Starting with the sight of the bearded man being tortured, Laheerman couldn’t help but vomit repeatedly. The violence escalated as the video played, and Laheerman retched violently until he could no more. The other workers in the news studio, too, were terrified by the bloody footage, inducing a visceral reaction in many who began to vomit as well.
By the time the second video finished playing, the entire studio was filled with an unpleasant odor. Everyone, including Laheerman, who as the anchor sat silently, unable to utter a word.
