"Damn it, it’s just my rotten luck!"
Inside Liu Qing’s villa, as Liu Qing was taking a bath, Lin Feng clenched his teeth and quietly slipped out.
After thinking things over, he had a gut feeling that Ye Lin wouldn’t be able to handle those two old geezers and was likely in danger. Therefore, without dwelling on it, he left Liu Qing behind and rushed straight to the Eastern Hotel.
While Liu Qing was in the bath, Lin Feng checked her phone and saw she had posted a status on WeChat. The location showed the Eastern Hotel, and the time was exactly when Liu Qing had dinner with Niu Bi and the others.
Therefore, Lin Feng was pretty much convinced that Niu Bi and Wu Hao were having dinner at the Eastern Hotel tonight. After their meal with Liu Qing, they would have called Ye Lin over to a second private room, and doing so at the same hotel would be most convenient.
He hailed a taxi and sped towards the Eastern Hotel. Once there, however, Lin Feng ran into a problem. Which damn room are they in?
He checked the lobby. It was empty, so Lin Feng decided to ask at the front desk.
"Miss, do you know if a Mr. Niu Bi or a Mr. Wu Hao booked a room tonight?" Lin Feng asked hastily.
The receptionist looked at Lin Feng doubtfully. This kind of information wasn’t something they usually disclosed.
"Oh, those two are heads of our company, and I’m their subordinate. They got drunk, and I can’t reach them by phone, so I came to drive them," Lin Feng blurted out an excuse, not caring if she believed him.
The receptionist was a young woman in her early twenties. After scrutinizing Lin Feng again, she probably figured he didn’t look like a troublemaker and said, "Please wait a moment, let me check for you."
About ten seconds later, the receptionist said, "A Mr. Wu Hao booked room 303 for tonight. However, the reservation was for 7 p.m., so I imagine they’ve finished their meal by now."
"That can’t be right. Our bosses attended one dinner party and then a second one here. The 7 p.m. one must have been the first. Miss, could you please check the room number for their second dinner party?" Lin Feng asked urgently.
Damn it, if I don’t find their room soon, those two old lechers might take Ye Lin away, and then it’ll be real trouble... He was incredibly anxious, but all he could do was try his best.
"Sorry, I don’t have any other information here. Perhaps their second dinner wasn’t here, or maybe after their first meal, they went directly into another unbooked room..."
The receptionist’s words plunged Lin Feng into a state of near despair. Undoubtedly, Niu Bi and the others must have moved directly to another room after their first dinner without making a new reservation.
This is disastrous! With hundreds of private dining rooms in the hotel, I can’t possibly go through them one by one, can I? By then, it’ll be too late! And Niu Bi and Wu Hao definitely aren’t just going to wait in their room for me to find them!
"Oh, Sister Wang, didn’t you just clean up room 303? After the guests left, did they get another private room?"
Just as Lin Feng was at his wit’s end, the receptionist suddenly asked a passing waitress.
"Um, I think they did get another room... um, I think it was 306," the waitress replied, trying to recall.
"Alright, thank you, Sister Wang." The pretty receptionist then turned to Lin Feng with a smile. "Sir, the people you’re looking for might be in room 306."
Lin Feng, of course, had heard the waitress and was overjoyed. I didn’t expect this receptionist to be so clever, actually helping me ask around!
"Beauty, I’m madly in love with you!"
Elated, Lin Feng blew an air-kiss to the receptionist and then dashed up the stairs to the third floor.
"Hey... hey, Handsome, leave me your phone number... We could get to know each other..."
The receptionist blushed, calling out shyly after Lin Feng’s retreating figure.

Actually, I should’ve figured it out sooner. When Niu Bi and the others came out and wanted another room, they’d definitely choose one nearby. So, the room they got would most likely be on the 3rd floor too. Sigh, when I get anxious, I just get stupid...
Lin Feng ran as fast as he could, reaching the third floor and heading straight for the door of room 306.
The door to the private room wasn’t fully closed. Just as Lin Feng was about to knock and see if Niu Bi and the others were inside, he heard a familiar voice, "Boss Niu, Director Wu, I... I really can’t drink anymore... That was supposed to be the last glass... I... I’m feeling a bit dizzy..."

Finally, I’ve found her!
Lin Feng heaved a huge sigh of relief. Good, good, they’re still drinking. Ye Lin should be safe for now.
"Alright, alright. You did say it was your last drink. How are you feeling, Assistant Ye?"
Inside the room, Wu Hao’s voice, tinged with a strange sarcasm, made Lin Feng frown.
"Phew... After drinking that beer, why do I feel a bit hot...? Boss Niu, Director Wu... Excuse me, I need to use the restroom," Ye Lin stammered.
"Fine, fine. Little Ma, accompany Assistant Ye to the restroom. We’ll wait for you here. Rest for a bit, then we’ll head out," Niu Bi said, his words carrying a hidden, excited undertone.
Ma Xiaojun acknowledged and then helped Ye Lin out of the private room towards the restrooms.
When they came out, Lin Feng quickly hid to the side and then quietly followed them.
Ye Lin went into the women’s restroom. Since Ma Xiaojun was a man, he couldn’t go in and had to wait outside.
A few seconds later, Ma Xiaojun saw a man walking furtively towards him, head down.
This man was, of course, Lin Feng. Ma Xiaojun didn’t recognize him, but Lin Feng kept his head down as much as possible so Ma Xiaojun wouldn’t get a good look at his face.
Without a second thought, Lin Feng tried to slip into the restroom.
"Sir, hold on!"
Just then, Ma Xiaojun, who was behind him, suddenly called out.
Lin Feng froze, his steps slowing. Could this guy have recognized me?
Slowly turning around, pretending nothing was wrong, Lin Feng smiled at Ma Xiaojun. "Sir, can I help you?"
Ma Xiaojun stared at Lin Feng strangely, then a smile spread across his face...
HAHAHA...
Ma Xiaojun burst out laughing, pointing to the sign above the restroom door. "Dude, you’re something else! This is the women’s restroom! You’re not a woman, so why are you trying to use the ladies’ room? HAHAHA... The men’s room is over here. If I hadn’t said anything, you would’ve walked right in and definitely gotten chased out by the women inside... HAHAHA..."
"I just like using women’s restrooms. What’s it to you? Annoying!"
Regaining his composure, Lin Feng retorted to Ma Xiaojun in a peculiar tone. Then, he walked up to the dazed Ma Xiaojun, knocked him out with a single punch, and swaggered into the women’s restroom.
