Lin Chen, with Qima, passed through the dance floor toward the back of the bar.
"It's all your fault. Why didn't you just make a move earlier?" Qima said angrily.
The bar was crowded just then. What if he had taken that woman hostage when they acted?
"Now the guy is gone. Where do we catch him?" Qima stamped her foot.
"Don't worry; with me here, he can't escape. And now, he's a sitting duck," Lin Chen said as he headed straight for a room across.
"How do you know he's in this room?" Qima asked, puzzled.
"Brother has the eyes of an eagle and the ears of a wolf. Even if he's good at hiding, I can still find him." Lin Chen reached the door and kicked it open.
"Bang!" The door flew open, and the people inside were almost knocked to the ground in fright.
"Who are you, and what do you want?" Sharon stood up from the bed and said in a deep voice.
In the room, Sharon had just lain down, hoping to get some sleep for a night of action, but he jumped up from the bed at the commotion at the door and ran toward the window.
However, he had barely taken two steps when he felt a hand, strong as a steel hook, grab his shoulder tightly.
In the next instant, before he could react, Lin Chen had thrown him to the ground and twisted his arms behind his back.
Just then, Qima ran over and handcuffed him directly.
"What are you doing? Robbery? Help, somebody!" Surprisingly, Sharon started shouting.
Lin Chen snorted coldly and slapped him on the back of his head, knocking him out cold.
At that moment, two men in black burst in, clearly Sharon's bodyguards. However, before they could react, Lin Chen had knocked them down too.
Lin Chen, helping Qima, delivered Sharon to the police station and said with a smile, "I've caught the guy for you. How do you plan to reward me this time?"
"The incident just now is considered even," Qima said with a cold huff.
"Hey, you're really ungrateful, truly burning the bridge after crossing it!" Lin Chen was speechless.
However, Qima suddenly kissed him on the cheek and said with a blush, "There, is that enough now?"
Lin Chen touched his moist cheek and nodded, "Almost."
Qima stared at Lin Chen, her eyes glinting with a cold light, "How about you lie down on the bed, and I give you a good massage?"
Lin Chen nodded vigorously, "Uh-huh! That would be nice."
"Good, but my dad has said that until I'm married, if anyone dares to touch me, he'll cripple that person," Qima said with a mischievous smile.
"Damn!" Lin Chen's mind immediately conjured the image of the inscrutable General.
"Forget it, it's as if I never said anything." Lin Chen sighed and left the police station feeling down.
When Lin Chen got home, it was already daylight. After a night of turmoil, he was tired and fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.
Just as Lin Chen had drifted off, he heard the sound of a motor at the door, and a red Ferrari pulled up.
The Ferrari parked roadside, and a trendy young girl wearing sunglasses got out of the car.
Soon, there was a knock on the door.
Lin Chen rubbed his eyes, "Sis, I just fell asleep. What's up?"
Wei Ling looked at Lin Chen, puzzled, "Uh, there's a girl at the door. She says she's your fiancée and that she's here to take you home."
"What? A fiancée!" Lin Chen was instantly baffled.
