"Okay, I'll make time to go there," Emon said, directly hanging up the phone.
Once Lin Chen put down the phone, he knew Emon must have run into trouble, at the very least his phone was being tapped.
Thinking it over, Emon had only mentioned two digits during the call, and a forty-year-old woman—probably a meeting at the Autumn Moon Club at 1:40.
This time, Lin Chen directly went to the Autumn Moon Club in disguise.
Upon arriving at the same private room as last time, Xu Jiayi walked out from the inside.
"Beautiful nurse, I'm feeling quite unwell. Can you check on me?"
To conceal her identity, Xu Jiayi had to wear the themed outfits provided by the club daily. Today's theme was a nurse, which is why she was dressed in a nurse's outfit.

Lin Chen yelped in pain and begged for mercy, prompting Xu Jiayi to finally let him go.
"How was that for service?" Xu Jiayi asked with a radiant smile.
"Hmph, you're ruthless. I ought to file a complaint," Lin Chen grumbled.
At that moment, the door opened, and Emon walked in.
Just as Lin Chen was about to speak, Emon made a shushing gesture and pointed at his clothes.
Using x-ray vision, Lin Chen immediately noticed a listening device had been installed on one of Emon's buttons.
Lin Chen signaled to Xu Jiayi with his eyes, and she understood him perfectly.
"Oh my! Boss, why haven't you visited for so many days? I've missed you," Xu Jiayi cooed.
Lin Chen, used to seeing Xu Jiayi speak in a straightforward manner, nearly burst into laughter at her current demeanor.
Lin Chen picked up a pair of scissors and snipped off the button.
Emon took the button and handed it to a disheveled woman outside.
It was only then that Emon spoke gravely, "I have bad news. The entire military department has been overwhelmed, and all the top ranks are involved in this project."
"How could this happen?" Xu Jiayi felt disbelief hearing Emon's words.
Lin Chen let out a bitter laugh, "Immortality has always been a human dream, and these people hold high positions, not yet having enjoyed their fortunes to the fullest. Who would want to die?"
Emon nodded and added, "However, their immortality is based on the death of countless innocents, and even if they obtain the Stone of Life, would they really achieve immortality? According to experimental records, they might turn into beings neither human nor ghost, coupled with that mysterious army, it's truly terrifying."
"So what should we do?" Xu Jiayi anxiously asked.
Emon thought for a moment and then said gravely, "Since this is the case, we can only rely on ourselves. We need to figure out how to get the lab's secrets leaked to the news, to draw public attention and shatter their schemes."
Lin Chen and Xu Jiayi both strongly agreed with Emon's idea.
"Today someone from the Dark Alliance contacted me, wanting to join forces with us to thwart the Heitung Sect's plan of producing the Stone of Life," Lin Chen said seriously.
"The Dark Alliance, can they be trusted?" Emon asked.
Lin Chen nodded, "They can be trusted, and we also have another force we can utilize."
"Which force?" Emon questioned, puzzled.
Since the current military department controlled the entire army, they too needed to find a force to counteract them.
"Do you remember the eradicated poison village? Some of the people escaped, and now they are seeking revenge against General Luo De!" Lin Chen chuckled.
"Great, in that case, tomorrow we'll act. We'll have the people from the Dark Alliance and the poison village raid the prison, creating the illusion that we are entering the lab from the prison, while we try to infiltrate the secret lab beneath the military research facility and expose their crimes to the world," Emon said.
Just then, a noisy rush of footsteps suddenly approached from outside. Lin Chen saw four or five agents rushing towards the room in a flurry.
"Damn, this secret meeting place might have been exposed," Lin Chen frowned.
"You guys go, I'll cover you," Emon stated coldly.
Lin Chen shook his head, "You go, I'll cover."
"But!" Emon looked worriedly at Lin Chen.
"Don't worry, once you leave, dealing with them will be too easy," Lin Chen said with a smile.
The footsteps grew closer, and Emon and Xu Jiayi scrambled into a secret passage.
Lin Chen restored the room to its original state just as the door was violently kicked open.
However, as they burst into the room, they found it completely empty.
At that moment, Lin Chen had already turned invisible, so naturally, they couldn't see him.
"Search the place! We have to find them," the leader, a middle-aged man, commanded coldly.
Unnoticed, Lin Chen left the Autumn Moon Club, informing Ah Shi of the mission time and plan.
The next day, deep into the night, a sudden explosion rocked the Mansi Prison, as a group of armed men broke into the Mansi military prison.
The military reacted swiftly and soon drove off the armed group.
The attackers fought for a while but, seeing they couldn't succeed, eventually scattered in flight.
In General's office, Luo De listened to the gunshots outside and frowned.
At this point, an adjutant ran in, "General, a group of thugs tried to storm the prison but we've driven them off."
Luo De nodded, "Good, I know. These guys are too insolent. Order the army to act immediately, we must not spare a single one."
The adjutant nodded and left.
Luo De's gaze, however, turned icy.
From behind the screen, the man styled as Matt reappeared, and Luo De said coldly, "It seems Emon just won't change his ways!"
"Hmph, we should've just killed him back then," Baro said coldly.
Luo De snorted, "Actually, I'm not too worried about Emon. He can't stir up much trouble. It's the Dark Alliance I'm concerned about. If I'm right, they'd definitely join forces with them. This is the best chance to nab them all at once."
