"Jiayi!" Lin Chen's gaze sharpened at the sight.
Just as Barro's fist was about to crash into Xu Jiayi's head, Lin Chen bellowed, unleashing the Time Law skill.

Barro's fist froze in mid-air, and with a flash Lin Chen appeared beside him. With a swift motion of his arm, Lin Chen decapitated him and kicked the head away.

Time resumed its flow, but the situation on the square had completely reversed.
Xu Jiayi, who thought she was about to die, was just about to pull the pin on a grenade.
Her hand was grasped by Lin Chen's: "Jiayi, it's me."
Ashi and Emon were also staring at Lin Chen in shock at this moment.
