A faint aqua light circulated within Qin Lan's body, healing her wounded parts.
After a few minutes, the color returned to Qin Lan's face, and her fingers twitched slightly.
"Qin Lan! Qin Lan!" Lin Chen called out excitedly.
Qin Lan slowly opened her eyes, and upon seeing Lin Chen, she was initially stunned, and then tears started to slide down the corners of her eyes.
"Lin Chen, thank you for saving me," Qin Lan said seriously, her eyes filled with gratitude.
"Haha, as long as you're awake, that's all that matters," Lin Chen said, happy like a child.
Qin Lan sat up. Although she still felt somewhat weak, her injuries had miraculously healed completely.
Outside the operating room, Zhou Yunshan and Deng Fan had both arrived at the hospital.
"How is Officer Qin?" Zhou Yunshan inquired.
The attending physician sighed, "Mayor Zhou, the patient lost too much blood, and she's gone. We used medication to sustain her life for a few minutes, but she should have passed away by now."
The attending physician's words moved everyone present, and even a few of the policewomen burst into tears.
