Dave, looking out the window, asked, "What's his power level?"
"The Angelo's? It's around ours, even without demonic energy empowerment," Trish replied, taking a deep breath.
"Hmm, so around superhuman level. I see, not a bad improvement," Dave mumbled. Earlier, Kingpin had superhuman strength and speed, but he lacked in other areas. Becoming a demonic knight filled that gap.
Trish then remembered something as she looked at Dave gazing out the window. "You're going to eat those two, right?" she asked with a sly smile.
"Hmm, what do you mean?" Dave asked, looking back at her.
"I mean those two chicks you left on my bed," Trish shrugged. "No, I don't plan to," Dave shook his head and replied.
"Why not? If you're worried about their resistance, don't be. I can control them or turn them into your sex slaves," she said with a mischievous grin.
"They're not my type," Dave glanced at her and said. Inwardly, he muttered, "Sometimes I forget that beneath that sexy body lies the devil itself."
"Not your type? I thought you liked it just, regardless of women you slept with, I mean I seduced you so easily" Trish asked, looking at Dave, surprised.
"You are my type," Dave clarified. "Short blonde cut, hot athletic body, and a badass attitude, all in one. Of course, I'll get excited about you, but others? or them, Not so much."
"Hmm, I see. No wonder I never felt lust from you when you were around that cute little clutz," Trish teased, referring to Diana.
"Of course, I'm not a horny monkey," Dave laughed.
"Maybe not now, but as you grow and live longer, you'll eventually start embracing it. Longevity is insane. It drives people mad, and they seek different things to cope. Some gain a god complex, some indulge in carnal desires, some in drugs. Everyone adapts in different ways," Trish explained.
"I'll see when I reach that point," Dave replied.
"For now, let's go. We have guests to attend to," Dave said as he began to put on his clothes.
Trish nodded as she stood up and let her bathrobe fall, revealing her body in full glory. Lightning crackled around her, and soon clothes began to materialize over her figure. Her outfit formed into a white top, paired with a black skirt and long stockings over her legs.
"You sure are a bewitching devil," Dave said, impressed by her magical clothes.
"Of course," she winked as she left, while Dave followed suit, wearing black pants and a white shirt.
He brushed his hair back as he exited his room and reached Trish's. There, he saw Diana glaring at the two assassins who were now tied to the bed with ropes.
Dave chuckled at Diana's serious expression. She was a total clutz, yet here she was, looking fierce.
"What are you doing?" Dave asked as he entered the room.
"You shouldn't leave them like that, they're killers," Diana said, her eyes not leaving the assassins.
Dave nodded as he sat in the chair in front of them. "Alright, let's talk," he said, as Trish snapped her fingers, and the ropes vanished.
'Hmm, so Trish used her powers instead. Dave doesn't have any of these abilities. What exactly happened back at Fisk Tower?' Diana thought, recalling the moment when Dave pulled a sword from himself as if it were nothing.
She looked at him again, then shook her head. 'No, he's normal. It was all Trish's doing. She can manipulate emotions... maybe she manipulated everyone back there to defeat Fisk,' Diana thought as her gaze shifted to Echo and Elektra.
"Let me introduce myself," Dave said, looking at the two women who were eyeing him with caution.
"My name is Dave Garcia. Kingpin, or Wilson Fisk, killed my father, which led me to kill him," he continued, surprising both Echo and Elektra. A wave of dread washed over them as they saw the serious, cold expression in Dave's eyes.
"But there's more. After going through his files, I found out something he left out. Fisk first killed your relatives and then used you both," Dave added, his words causing Echo to shout out in disbelief.
"Impossible! It was Daredevil who killed my father because he was an enemy of Kingpin! Fisk didn't kill my father, he raised me and helped me so that I could return the favor against Daredevil," Echo said, her voice full of defiance as she glared coldly at Dave.
Dave didn't respond immediately but threw a folder in front of her. "See for yourself," he said, calmly waiting.
Echo hesitated but eventually picked up the folder. As she read through the documents, her expression slowly shifted, disbelief turning into shock. Tears welled up in her eyes as the truth began to unravel, and she broke down, unable to hold back the flood of emotions.
"I... I... All this time, I was working for my father's killer!?" Echo sobbed, her voice breaking as she covered her face and cried heavily.
Diana frowned, her gaze shifting to Dave. 'Is that really what happened?' she thought, now understanding why Dave had kept the two women alive.
Elektra, who had been silently observing, spoke up, her tone filled with self-doubt rather than coldness. "Can you show me the proof as well?" she asked, her voice quieter than before.
Dave nodded and tossed another file her way. Elektra picked it up and began reading. After about five minutes, she looked back at Dave, her expression a mixture of guilt and sorrow. "I don't deserve any sympathy. I know I've done too many terrible things... I can't escape the guilt," she said slowly.
"Maybe," Dave responded, "but you can still change that. Daredevil is your friend, right? Why don't you go to him and help him? It's only a matter of time before another Kingpin rises to power. I'm not interested in ruling New York underworld, And Daredevil will be grateful if he got another help against the new kingpin."
Elektra hesitated, absorbing his words. The thought of seeking redemption through Daredevil offered a small glimmer of hope in her conflicted heart.
