Super Template System In Marvel and Beyond Chapter 373

The children’s jaws dropped even further when Asta yanked out the massive sword from his black grimoire and planted it in the ground with a loud thunk.

"See?! Told you I’d get one better than theirs!" he declared, grinning so wide his face looked like it might split.

The little ones rushed around him, touching the blade in awe before Sister Lily quickly ushered them back, worried they might get hurt. "Asta, be careful! That thing is dangerous!"

But Asta only laughed louder. "Dangerous? Nah! This is the sword that’s gonna cut me a path straight to the Wizard King’s throne!"

Father Orsi rubbed his forehead, torn between pride and dread. "First Yuno with a four-leaf, then Dave with another rare grimoire, and now this... The gods are either blessing this church... or cursing me with future headaches..."

The kids giggled, tugging at Yuno’s glowing book, then Dave’s calm silver-black one, and finally running circles around Asta’s giant sword. The church that night was filled with more energy than ever before.

At dinner, the long wooden table groaned under the weight of Sister Lily’s cooking. The children chattered nonstop about their heroes—their older brothers—now all wielders of grimoires.

Yuno ate quietly, eyes distant as if already planning the next steps of his journey.

Dave sat back, arms crossed, faint smirk on his lips as he listened but rarely spoke, his calm presence keeping the rowdy table balanced.

And Asta? He was the loudest of them all, swinging his fork around like it was his new blade, shouting about how he was definitely going to become Wizard King before either of the other two.

"Just you wait! I’ll train harder than anyone, eat more than anyone, and fight tougher than anyone! Wizard King Asta—that’s got a nice ring to it, right?!" he declared.

Father Orsi sighed but smiled faintly. "You three... just don’t forget. Grimoires or not, it’s your hearts that matter. Protect people, don’t lose yourselves, and don’t forget this home."

His words settled into the air. Even Asta quieted down for a moment, nodding with rare seriousness.

That night, as the children fell asleep one by one, Dave found himself standing by the church door, staring at the moon. Yuno joined him silently, his golden tome in hand.

"...We’re not going to stay here long," Yuno finally said.

Dave nodded, his voice calm. "No. The Magic Knights Exam is next. This village won’t hold us anymore."

From the shadows of the hall, Asta’s voice cut in, stubborn as always: "Then I’m coming too. I don’t care what it takes. The three of us—we’ll all go!"

The church bells rang early every morning, and for the next half-year, the quiet village of Hage was anything but ordinary.

The news had already spread far beyond their borders—two four-leaf grimoires and a strange five-leaf had appeared in the same place. Travelers, scholars, and even knights whispered about Hage Village as if it were blessed by fate. But for the three boys themselves, life was nothing like the rumors. It was sweat, bruises, and relentless training.

Dave sat cross-legged outside the church one dawn, his silver-black grimoire floating steadily before him. Unlike Yuno’s radiant glow, his clover shimmered softly—like moonlight on still water.

The pages opened on their own, glyphs flickering into existence before dissolving into nothing. Every time, silence followed—as though the world itself was momentarily erased.

When he raised his hand, faint threads of silver light gathered. Unlike normal spells, these weren’t meant to overwhelm. They deleted. Barriers broke apart, fire was snuffed out, water vanished into vapor, and even sound itself disappeared.

By the end of the first month, Dave had already mastered three distinct Null spells— Googlᴇ search 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭⚫𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦⚫𝘯𝘦𝘵

Null Veil: erased incoming magic before it touched him.

Silent Step: cut away the sound and presence of his body, making him vanish from perception.

Eclipse Edge: a conjured blade of null energy that severed spells and even physical objects like they were illusions.

"Null Magic..." Dave muttered quietly one night. "Not to burn brighter than others—but to erase everything in my way."

Sister Lily watched in awe and unease. She’d seen countless forms of magic, but this was something beyond normal. Even the church bell went quiet when Dave willed it.

When not training his spells, Dave sparred with Asta—his calm, precise strikes clashing against Asta’s wild force. Unlike Asta, Dave never yelled. His silence carried weight.

Yuno’s four-leaf answered him as naturally as breathing. With a flick of a page, his first spell took shape—Wind Arrow, sharp, fast, and refined. Though it was only one technique, his control over it became deadly.

Each shot pierced trees clean through, and his sword skills sharpened alongside. By the third month, he could layer wind around his blade, making every strike faster and heavier.

At night, when everyone else rested, Yuno stood under the stars, loosing wind arrows into the sky until his hands trembled.

"I’ll take the first seat at the exam," he told Dave flatly.

Dave smirked faintly, arms crossed. "...Then don’t blink when I erase it."

With no magic to refine, Asta threw himself at his body. Push-ups, squats, running with logs tied to his back. Every sunrise began with his screaming chants, echoing across the hills:

"Wizard King! Wizard King! Wizard King!"

His grimoire remained strange and heavy, but the first spell it gave him—the Demon-Slayer Sword—was more than enough. At first, he couldn’t even swing it. By the third month, he could wield it in a fight. By the sixth, he split boulders clean in half with a single strike.

The weapon erased spells on contact, carving through magic like it wasn’t there. Against anyone who relied only on casting, it was unstoppable.

Not to mention along with his previous haki as well as swordsmanship and Marine Six styles training, he is more powerful now then he was supposed to be two years later.

The three stood at the edge of the village, packs over their shoulders.

Father Orsi’s voice wavered with pride and worry. "You’ve all grown so much. But remember—you’re not just chasing strength. Protect people. Protect each other."

Yuno gave a quiet nod. Dave smirked faintly, silver eyes unreadable. And Asta—he threw his arms in the air and shouted loud enough for the whole kingdom to hear:

"Don’t worry, Pops! I’ll come back as Wizard King! Just wait!!"
