Telekinetic nets spread out to their maximum extent, as Gongsun Ce carefully controlled the flow of mud while intently feeling for the moment. Aorus’s teleportation had no time lag; once activated, he would instantly transfer coordinates, so readiness was key… waiting for the moment of teleportation…
The mudflow surged, engulfing the brown-haired youth. Aorus once again gestured, and at a certain point in the invisible web, a thread began to move erratically.
Gongsun Ce bellowed and struck out. Almost simultaneously with the completion of Aorus’s teleportation, invisible spikes erupted from beneath his feet, swiftly stabbing toward his body!
Yet the youth merely sneered and raised his hand, pushing out placidly. And so, the assault of spikes was continuously shattered, the invisible force retreating before an even more bizarre barrier!
Aorus Otimis began using his true power. Above his head appeared the black and white radiance, which under his willpower solidified, took shape, and transformed into a strange crown.
The crown had a pitch-black outer square wheel, guarding the semicircular white heavenly sphere in the center. This was precisely the embodiment of the ability that made his name, the origin of the moniker “Supreme Crown”!
Gongsun Ce roared and stepped forward, his body accelerated by telekinesis causing a hurricane in the rainy night. Amidst the wind and rain, Aorus raised his voice.
“That’s why, Gongsun Ce! That’s why, your character utterly unchanged, your actions are exceedingly predictable. Just like now, after your long-range attack failed, you impulsively launched into close combat, completely disregarding the efficiency of this strategy!”
The hurricane swept across the lawn, picking up moist grass along with the dirt. Furious, Gongsun Ce slammed his right fist down, and Aorus once again employed teleportation to evade. The telekinetic punch triggered yet another localized earthquake!
This time, Aorus’s figure was not to be found on the violently shaken ground; he appeared in the distant sky. He gazed arrogantly down at the city beneath his feet, overlooking the youth soaring into the sky, while his fingertips traced across the world before his eyes.
And so, the world was cleft askew.
The distorted space tore through the overcast clouds, countless raindrops split mid-air; buildings on either side of the street slid off along that slicing trajectory, even the solid asphalt shattered!
With a mere gesture, everything in Aorus’s field of vision was neatly divided, as though an invisible longsword had passed over, tearing the very fabric of space that allowed matter to exist!
And so buildings collapsed, streets were damaged, countless pipes underground exploded, unleashing dust and flames. All matter was destroyed due to the fragmentation of the very space it occupied…
And humans caught on these slicing marks fared no differently.
The man made no sound.
That was, of course, to be expected. It was difficult for anyone to comprehend what the attack really was. For by the time they were attacked, their fate was already sealed with defeat.
Gongsun Ce’s face still bore the expression of rage, his hand reaching forward out of inertia.
Then, his body “slipped away.”
Starting from the left shoulder to the waist, along the trajectory of the sliced space, the gray-haired youth’s body was segmented into three parts. The first to fall was his left arm. Then the upper body, the youth’s flesh separating like a ruined building…
In the rain of blood, it plummeted toward the sorrowful city.
“Goodbye, Gongsun Ce. As I’ve said,”
Aorus, unscathed, bid his falling opponent farewell.
“Your defeat was determined before everything even started.”
