"That’s actually quite possible." Dong Xuan nodded slightly, sighing. "That guy’s luck is really something else. He actually managed to run into people from the Divine Blade Sect at such a critical moment. If we had managed to take care of him back then, things might not have become this difficult."
"For now, we should avoid this group," Long Chen said. "Follow me, and pick up the pace!"
"Right!" Dong Xuan and the others didn’t hesitate. Upon hearing Long Chen’s words, they immediately followed him at a rapid pace.
Using his Divine Demon Eye, Long Chen anticipated the group’s direction. He moved quickly through the area, using the map and the local terrain to his advantage to throw them off his trail. After a series of twists and turns, Long Chen finally led the Disciples of Guiyuan Academy to a cave before stopping.
"According to the map, the Restoring Tendon Grass grows here." Long Chen glanced into the mouth of the cave. It was pitch-black, making it impossible to see what was inside.
"Everyone be careful," Long Chen reminded the Disciples of Guiyuan Academy over his shoulder. With that said, he stepped forward and led the way.
He took a Fire Luminous Pearl from his spatial ring, and the dark space was instantly illuminated. The inside of the cave was damp, with snakes and rats scurrying across the ground. Everyone watched their surroundings vigilantly, wary of any danger.
After venturing deeper into the cave, they came upon a Stone Door. It was huge, blocking their path. Judging by the undisturbed look of the place, no one had been here for a very long time.
Long Chen approached the Stone Door and examined it carefully, looking for some kind of switch to raise it. However, despite checking the entire area, he found nothing.
With no other choice, Long Chen warned the Disciples of Guiyuan Academy, "Stand back."
Hearing his words, the disciples immediately retreated. Long Chen began to gather his power. An immense force instantly condensed in his palm, and he thrust it forward!
BANG!
The force of the blow only made the Stone Door tremble slightly but had no other effect. The door remained standing, solid and imposing.
"This Stone Door is so sturdy?!" Seeing this, a flash of astonishment crossed the eyes of Wei Lin, Dong Xuan, and the others.
Long Chen’s brow furrowed for a moment, but his expression quickly returned to normal. Undiscouraged, he continued to think of a way to open the Stone Door. This time, he crouched down and took a firm grip on the bottom of the Stone Door. Then, he unleashed a powerful force, attempting to lift it by sheer strength.
"Let’s help!" Dong Xuan immediately called out to the others.
Everyone rushed to Long Chen’s side to help lift the massive Stone Door. The door, as heavy as Mount Tai, trembled a few times. Finally, with their combined effort, the solid door lifted slightly off the ground.
