Surviving The Fourth Calamity Chapter 458

At first, it wasn’t clear why Adrian didn’t use his own ship to take the onlookers. The reason soon became apparent.

"Adrian, why is your ship so different from Hill’s?" Belter went over and found that you could either stand on the deck or sit inside the cabin.

The cabin’s view wasn’t great, and there was no place to sit on the deck, so no wonder Adrian didn’t use it.

The deck space wasn’t small, but it was slanted, and not even one chair could be placed.

"My ship is built for speed. It’s different from Hill’s; his is for living on."

"So it’s just for running away! Why don’t you make a Cloud Ship for everyday use? I don’t believe you can’t build one, you just don’t know how to enjoy life." Belter walked into the cabin, muttering.

Adrian sneered, "Hill’s Crystal Stone consumption for a day of flying is enough for you to live comfortably for a month.

I’m not even at the Legendary level yet, I’m pretty broke!

If you want a ship like Hill’s, even if you can buy it, you can’t afford to use it."

William laughed at their bickering, then glanced towards the ocean and teleported back to the Lord’s Mansion. He needed to think about how to mobilize the Undead Tribe and escalate things further.

Adrian didn’t know that Hill’s Cloud Ship was already running on his last bunch of Crystal Stones.

This might be considered a substantial fortune by others, but to Hill, who had always been rich beyond imagination since childhood, this was incredibly poor.

Fortunately, List said that the Undead Tribe had bought out his stockpile, so Hill could retrieve more Crystal Stones anytime.

Otherwise, Hill wouldn’t have known whether he would need to park his Cloud Ship on the ground soon.

Of course, the current Hill wasn’t thinking about money matters.

He was just grateful that he had managed to touch upon the Gold Element Laws during his Legendary advancement.

Even though it was a minor touch, it acted as an anchor point, allowing Hill to easily grasp the Gold Element Laws.

Otherwise, he’d be completely at a loss right now.

Three law lines were slowly weaving together in his hands. Hill needed to focus all his spiritual power to ensure that none of these lines suddenly snapped.

Hill knew his Earth and Wood laws were solid, thick, and sturdy, but the Gold Element Law, likely due to the Earth’s incomplete return, was thin and fragile.

Hill carefully directed the Earth and Wood law lines to gently wrap around the thin Gold line.

Just when his Mental Sea was about to be completely depleted, the already woven law lines slowly fused together, then connected directly to their source. A strange gold-green law line appeared on Hill’s fingertip.

The roar of the Earth’s Law thundered in Hill’s Mental Sea, countless tri-elemental spells appeared and disappeared, and Hill, with his spiritual power instantly restored, quickly utilized the Water of Tranquility before exhausting himself again, cramming many spells into his buzzing head.

Hill slowly opened his eyes, then quickly clutched his head.

It had been a long time since he felt this drained, with his spiritual power, mana, and even physical strength all exhausted.

His head was buzzing from recording too many things in such a short time.

Hill glanced around; in his panic, he had entered the house, activated the shielding, and sat directly on the floor.

He simply lay down, planning to sleep right there—after all, it was a wooden floor, and he wasn’t afraid of the cold.

However, his body told him, No, you can’t sleep immediately; you need to take a bath first.

Hill rolled around on the floor a few times, unable to resist the strong demand of his body, and finally got up.

Agleya hadn’t made a sound, probably worried about disturbing him.

She must have peeked in when he had just entered, but then she disappeared silently.

Hill touched the small Ice Crystal, hanging it back in the study.

Then he went to draw a bath.

After soaking for an hour, Hill climbed out and rolled directly onto his bed.

After a beautiful sleep, Hill felt completely refreshed.

He was a bit regretful when he was woken up by the morning sunlight; the Earth Bear hadn’t summoned him yet.

It seemed that even more important was his physical fitness.

He probably needed to be even stronger to move freely in an Elemental Storm.

Sitting in his study, Hill had just intended to summarize the tri-elemental spells he had recorded when his face darkened, and he grabbed the Ice Crystal beside him: "Agleya! What have you done!"

There was no response on the other side. After a long delay, a trembling voice finally came through: "Mr. Hill, this is Xerthis. His Majesty the Sea God is battling the sea monsters and can’t communicate with you at the moment."

Hill sneered, "Tell Agleya that once she’s done, she must contact me immediately!"

"Yes, Mr. Hill, I will definitely inform His Majesty the Sea God!" Xerthis’s spirits lifted, and he quickly cut off the connection.

Hill hadn’t expected such chaos in such a short time.

Agleya must have joined Central City’s defense, Hill clenched his teeth. It had to be to protect him.

Once the Earth’s Law was fully restored, anyone could guess that Hill would be the first to grasp it.

Those spells were intended as a reward for the first to grasp the Earth’s Law.

Others would only see spells relevant to themselves, and finding a few unknown ones would be fortunate.

The Dwarven assassination order, Hill likely leveled up again.

Knowing this, and seeing Central City’s divine defenses, Agleya couldn’t bear it. As long as Hill wasn’t in direct control, she would inevitably make a move.

But why had she already started fighting the sea monsters?

Hill couldn’t understand it. A mature Agleya had no enemies in the ocean, but now, if the semi-divine sea monsters united against her, Agleya would have a tough battle.

It could even slow down her divine power growth!

What had pushed Agleya to the point where she couldn’t endure anymore?

Hill sighed. Could it be the appearance of Coron that had hurt Agleya’s pride?

Powerless, Hill could only smile bitterly.

He pulled out Magic Paper and started transcribing various spells. Although he could perform some, they still needed to be recorded.

Spells directly optimized by the laws were different from those researched by mages.

Hill placed various potions and food items to restore spiritual and mana power beside him and dug into his work.

But just before he started writing, Hill’s brows furrowed. William didn’t seem to be in Central City anymore?

The usual glow of divine power in Hill’s spiritual perception had disappeared.

He wondered if William had gone to the Dwarf Kingdom.

Hill glanced out the window and gradually made the Cloud Ship invisible. Faced with the choice between spells and watching the excitement, he chose spells.

Though with some regret.

William stood in the skies above the Gray Dwarves’ territory.

Surrounded by an enormous Undead Mage Army.

Even more terrifyingly, every inch of land outside the Gray Dwarves’ territory was filled with the Undead Tribe.

Nobody knew how in just two days the Undead Tribe bypassed the Dwarf Kingdom’s vast lands and rushed to the Gray Dwarves.

As the first Dwarf faction to fight the humans, the King of Saral aiming his first attack at the Gray Dwarves was to be expected.

Others could understand it, but the God of Smithing couldn’t, and he was furious.

"King of Saral! I’ve decided not to trouble the humans anymore! Why are you coming after me first?"

"What’s done can’t be undone," William said lazily.

The surrounding Undead couldn’t help but groan in waves.

With so many, it seemed like the entire land around the Gray Dwarves was vomiting in unison.

"You should understand that among the Dwarves, you are the most hated," William said indifferently, "If I come out, my target is naturally you!"

"You know they won’t save me at the risk of being killed by human deities?" The God of Smithing said coldly, "The relationship between the Gray Dwarves and them is terrible; they don’t even consider us kin.

If not for the command of my master, I wouldn’t stay with them.

If it weren’t for the Abyss’s limited power in this world, requiring me to pay more to remain in the Dwarf Deity System, I’d ignore many issues."

"Otherwise, the elves would have killed me first.

To humans, I indeed committed the crimes.

But I was just following orders.

Even if you kill me, it won’t impact them."

I can swear never to participate in this world’s conflicts again. When the Abyssal Gate opens next, I’ll take the Gray Dwarves and leave."

"If it sounds so nice, why didn’t you leave when the Abyss gate opened before?" William sneered.

"I didn’t open the gate," the God of Smithing shouted hoarsely, "The gate was on my master’s enemy’s territory! If I entered, I wouldn’t survive three days!"

The enemies of the Gray Dwarves’ chief god, Radug, were countless, just like the God of Smithing before him, enemies were everywhere.

As long as the one opening the Abyssal Gate avoided the Gray Dwarves’ domain, the rest of the Abyss was filled with their enemies.

William stared at the bald Gray Dwarf and his gray skin, "Then why can you leave now?

It only shows that you find it easier to harm this world.

If you committed the crimes, accept the consequences!

Your crimes against humanity must be paid for!"

"Radug will protect me!" the God of Smithing roared.

Since reconciliation was impossible, the solitary Gray Dwarf decided not to waste more words.

Leading his followers, he charged at William.

William easily took on the two fallen deities.

Since the world’s improvement, their power was indeed further suppressed.

William felt that, whereas he could barely resist them before, he now had the upper hand.

He laughed joyfully, "Teraxil is watching us! Undead! Attack with full force! This is a war of annihilation!"

All the Gray Dwarves belonged to the Evil Faction, and to the Undead, ahead was a sea of red names.
