Old Zheng waved at his assistant. “Aiya, having a child added to the family is a happy matter. I was thinking that it was rather tacky to gift gold and silver. Therefore, I prepared some things that the child could wear and use. I hope that you won’t dislike my gift!”
Old Zheng’s assistant placed the things beside Ruan Qishan’s feet and the other people also made their assistants bring over their gifts.
Ruan Qishan’s laughing eyes swept across the gifts and then he started laughing. “I appreciate everyone’s intentions! However, my family doesn’t have a need for these gifts. However, I would still like to thank you guys for them!”
