"We didn’t talk much, just about the food. I suggested to him that they should purchase more fresh vegetables. He said the prices are high and not profitable. It’s just that awkward time of year between seasons, but in a little more than half a month to a month, fresh vegetables will be fully on the market. Then it’ll get much better."
Upon hearing Gu Shuangshuang say this, a light bulb went off in An Hao’s mind, and she suddenly remembered something.
She said to Gu Shuangshuang, "Wait for me, okay? I’ll have a chat with that head chef."
An Hao went to find the chef in charge, and got straight to the point: "Chef, your dishes are indeed quite monotonous. If this keeps up, I reckon you’ll lose a lot of students."
"You think so too?" the head chef sighed, "It seems that everyone has issues with the food. But we can’t afford to spend a lot on vegetables, and if people complain they’re too expensive and don’t buy... our loss would be even greater."
An Hao suddenly saw an opportunity. If she could get her vegetable garden to collaborate with the cafeteria, wouldn’t that be a win-win situation?
"Boss, I can provide you with large quantities of fresh vegetables; are you interested in talking about a partnership with me?"
"You can supply me with large quantities of fresh vegetables?" the boss asked incredulously.
"Of course. My family grows greenhouse vegetables. If you have some time, why not come with me and take a look around our village?"
The head chef eagerly rubbed his hands together: "That’s great! Really great! Let me report back to the boss, and we’ll set a time to visit your vegetable greenhouse."
"Good. I’m An Hao from Clinical Class One. If there’s anything, just come find me in the classroom I just mentioned."
"Sure, sure, sure!" the head chef agreed readily.

In the evening, Gu Shuangshuang followed An Hao home for the weekend.
The house hadn’t been this lively since Qin Jian left; Gu Shuangshuang’s arrival made the old couple very happy, and they had a wonderful dinner.
After dinner, An Hao chatted with Zhang Yun, while Gu Shuangshuang, bored out of her mind, joined Ning Chief in studying and playing a couple of rounds of chess.
The scene was filled with joy!
It was getting late, and Zhang Yun urged the two girls to get to bed quickly.
After a bath, Gu Shuangshuang, feeling refreshed, lay down beside An Hao: "This is so comfortable! Your bed is a hundred times better than the dorm’s. Aiya, what a pity! Staff Officer Qin won’t get to experience this, he must be suffering in the harsh Northwest weather right now! Not only does he miss out on this comfortable big bed, he can’t even touch his little wife. I wonder if Staff Officer Qin will be frustrated to the point of having problems?"
An Hao burst out laughing, "Gu Shuangshuang, you’re becoming more and more like Tian Niu. I’ve noticed you’ve gotten as sharp-tongued as him after spending a few days together."
"Don’t mention him!" Gu Shuangshuang detested Tian Niu’s abrupt departure and had long since regarded him as a jerk who didn’t keep his word.
"You’re still angry?" An Hao turned towards her, and asked seriously, "Shuangshuang, tell me, have you fallen for Commander Tian?"
"Not at all!" Gu Shuangshuang denied emphatically.
"Yeah right!" An Hao glared at her, "We’ve been together for so long, do you think I don’t understand your feelings? If you like him, just confess to him."
