Yueqin recognized his voice and turned to sit up. When she saw Qin Fen had come to visit her and was holding a bunch of snacks, she was somewhat moved.
"Why did you even come? Now everyone within ten miles knows I’m a woman of loose morals, and they all can’t wait to stay far away from me, why would you still come near?"
Qin Feng saw Yueqin’s little face flushed red from fever, and her whole body seemed to have thinned down, with her eyes appearing bigger as if embedded in her face, eliciting a feeling of pity.
"Yueqin, deep down you’re a kind person, I know it. You’ve just been oppressed by An Hao all along, feeling uneasy inside, which led you to do those things. I can understand you! It’s just hatred that has blinded you," Qin Fen said with earnest conviction.
