An Hao guessed several times but still couldn’t get it right, and in the end, it was Gu Shuangshuang who told her directly, "My mom asked me to go on a blind date!"
"A blind date?" An Hao couldn’t help but let out a snort of laughter, "I’ve found that your mom really understands you! She probably knew that if she asked you to come back directly, you might not come back, so she made up some nonsense to fool you."
"Exactly! My mom is really cunning! Can you believe before she divorced my dad, she didn’t care about my business, but now that she’s finally divorced and has run off to another place and found herself a new husband! Now, she’s suddenly interested in my affairs." Gu Shuangshuang just couldn’t figure out what kind of trick her mom was playing.
"Maybe she was just too busy before," An Hao said offhand.

She used to spend all her energy on arguing and divorcing my dad," Gu Shuangshuang shook her head and sighed, "She used to complain that my dad didn’t make enough money and had a low-ranking job! Now, she’s doing great, having found herself a division commander! It’s said that his wife died many years ago. As soon as he saw my mom, he kept saying she resembled his deceased wife. So, the two got married! I honestly feel is all a dream."
"Yeah. Now that your mom feels happy, she wants to set you up with someone. I guess the guy’s background must be quite impressive, right?" An Hao inferred, considering Gu Shuangshuang’s mom’s personality.
"Pfft!" Gu Shuangshuang scoffed, "An Hao, you’ll never know how incredible my mom is unless you meet her! The things she does are absolutely shocking! Guess who she introduced me to?"
"Definitely not Tian Niu!"
"The guy she introduced me to is the division commander’s son! And he’s also attending our university!" After saying this, Gu Shuangshuang felt a bit sorry for Tian Niu, "Poor old Niu! His future wife is about to be promised to someone else by his mother-in-law, and he has no idea! Seeing these two being friendlier than before, An Hao was also very happy in her heart; after all, gaining a friend is much better than gaining an enemy.
"Speaking of studying, I might as well mention something else. For tonight’s anatomy class, Professor Yan seems to be up to his usual tricks again," Lei Linxuan said.
"How do you know?" Gu Shuangshuang asked casually.
"I heard it from a senior in our third year. Professor Yan’s biggest trait is that he never plays by the rules!"
