“Zhaozhao, do you have any issues with me?” After finishing their meal and running into Zhou Huaiyu and his friends at the entrance of the cafeteria, the latter looked at Shen Zhaozhao with a face full of grievance and complained.
At a towering height of just over six feet, his expression really was a bit hard to resist.

“Then why were you avoiding me just now?” Perhaps flattered by being called handsome, Zhou Huaiyu’s tone lightened considerably, and even the resentment in his voice seemed to dissipate quite a bit.
Shen Zhaozhao, well aware of the principle that flattery gets you everywhere, smiled with a face full of sycophancy and innocence, “It’s just that your brilliance is so dazzling and your charisma so blinding that I worried standing beside you, I would be cast in the role of a clown, which is why I didn’t come over just now.”

Shen Zhaozhao stifled her laughter and nodded.
Zhou Huaiyu, satisfied, strutted toward the classroom with great aplomb.

Sheng Chuyi looked at her deeply: “Shen Zhaozhao, do you always get so enthusiastic with everyone?”
The way he said it, it was almost as if she were some sort of flirtatious, unreliable woman.
“Tsk, am I detecting a strong scent of jealousy? Didn’t think you’d care so much about such a vain title. Relax, you are the handsomest; no one is handsomer than you. I was just humoring him. Can’t you tell?”
Unfortunately, Shen Zhaozhao’s words did not please him, and Sheng Chuyi’s expression turned even colder. He glanced indifferently at her and walked past.

Shen Zhaozhao turned to Jiang Nian beside her and said, “Don’t you think boys are more troublesome than girls nowadays?” Each one was like a child who needed to be coaxed, and it was all too difficult for her.
Jiang Nian, watching Sheng Chuyi walk away, thoughtfully said, “You two, it’s not just knowing each other, is it?” It was the first time she had seen Sheng Chuyi show an expression other than indifference towards a girl.
“You caught me; we are indeed more familiar with each other than most.” Shen Zhaozhao didn’t intend to hide the fact, especially not in front of Jiang Nian, or else she wouldn’t have spoken to Sheng Chuyi the way she had.
