“Okay, okay, I’m just teasing you.” Sheng Chuyi said with a smile as he put the cue back, “Seeing you’re not interested, how about we go do something else?”
“Sure!” Shen Zhaozhao nodded eagerly.
“You two go ahead, we’ll play a bit more.”
Zhou Huaiyu and Gu Chengzhou, very wisely, did not follow them this time.
Stepping out of the billiard room, the two wandered around the villa. Besides the hot springs, there was also a steam room, but Shen Zhaozhao had just soaked in the springs and wasn’t interested in steaming.
The two casually walked along the various hot spring pools.
At the end of the hot spring pools, they even discovered a waterfall. Shen Zhaozhao originally thought the water would be cold, but when she cautiously reached out her hand, to her surprise, she found the waterfall’s water was actually hot.
She excitedly turned to Sheng Chuyi and called out, “Yiyi, you’ve got to try this, the water is actually warm.”
Seeing how she seemed eager to plunge right under the waterfall, Sheng Chuyi grabbed her hand and pulled her back, cautioning, “Be careful, don’t get your clothes wet.”
They were dressed in normal clothes, and getting wet could easily lead to a cold.
“It’s okay, if they get wet I’ll just change when we get back,” Shen Zhaozhao said nonchalantly.
Sheng Chuyi, seeing her so happy, decided not to fuss over it. Thankfully, Shen Zhaozhao knew school was about to start, and getting sick would be troublesome, so she only stretched out her hand to test the water and didn’t dare splash it on Sheng Chuyi.
She then took out her phone and had Sheng Chuyi help her take some pictures.
Of course, she also took the chance to sneakily snap several photos of Sheng Chuyi when he wasn’t paying attention.
Sheng Chuyi was clearly aware of it, but he didn’t say anything and let her take her candid shots, his face wearing a gentle expression the whole time.
It was a stark contrast to his usual air of keeping people at a distance.
After exploring the waterfall hot springs, they returned to their room to rest.
In the evening, the three guys went for a steam bath, but Shen Zhaozhao, feeling exhausted, stayed in her room.
Shen Zhaozhao was sitting cross-legged on the bed, hugging her phone as she watched a series, when she suddenly heard knocking at the door.
Upon opening the door, she found Sheng Chuyi standing there.
He was still wearing a white bathrobe, clearly just finished with the steam bath, and he held a plate of barbecue, “I saw people grilling when we came back, and thought you’d probably like it, so I brought you some.”
“Thanks! I was just feeling a bit hungry!” Shen Zhaozhao gratefully accepted.
For dinner, the four of them had the resort’s buffet, which was alright, but nothing special, pretty much the same as in any regular hotel.
Shen Zhaozhao hadn’t really eaten her fill.
“After eating, get some rest early!” Sheng Chuyi instructed.
During the night, Shen Zhaozhao had a good sleep.
The next morning, not seeing Zhou Huaiyu and Gu Chengzhou, she couldn’t help but ask Sheng Chuyi.
“They went skiing on the back mountain,” Sheng Chuyi said.
“Why didn’t they wait for us?” They had agreed to play together, yet those two had left them behind.

Shen Zhaozhao nodded.
Since they were out to have fun, the goal was to enjoy themselves thoroughly.
