Shen Zhaozhao licked her ice cream, the milky treat melting a bit and smudging the corner of her mouth.
Sheng Chuyi pulled a tissue from the table and very naturally reached over to wipe it off for her.

“Who said I’m not going?” If she backed out now, it would make her dad look bad, especially after all the boasting she did on Momo’s behalf.
After all, the ice cream she was eating was bought with her dad’s pocket money.

“But you don’t look happy at all!” Sheng Chuyi said.

While licking her ice cream, Shen Zhaozhao asked Sheng Chuyi, “Why are you being so nice to me today?” He actually bought her so many ice creams; she wouldn’t need to sneak into her dad’s pocket money for many days.
“Am I not nice to you usually?” Sheng Chuyi stopped and retorted.
Shen Zhaozhao thought about it carefully; aside from occasionally finding her noisy and calling her dumb, this guy was actually quite okay to her.
At least much nicer than he was to anyone else!
