“Actually, yes. She gave me a whole list today, and I don’t understand any of it. Could you help me look it over later?” It was her first house, and she wanted to use the best materials possible.
After talking about the renovation, Shen Zhaozhao asked, “Where are we going now? Aren’t we going back?”
“Do you want to stay at home?” Sheng Chuyi turned and asked.
“I don’t mind either way!” Anyway, staying at Yiyi’s place felt just like being at her own home.
Sheng Chuyi, “But I prefer it when it’s just the two of us living together.”
Shen Zhaozhao didn’t know why, but her face suddenly felt hot, and she quickly changed the subject, “But our luggage is still over there. Also, shouldn’t we inform Uncle Sheng and Aunt Suxin before just moving out ? Wouldn’t it be impolite not to?”
“No worries, I’ll go over later to pick it up and inform them then,” Sheng Chuyi said.

Back at the rental, she found the place had been tidied up and some new furniture had been added, making it feel more like home.
Even the bed sheets were new. She wondered where the old ones had been discarded.

Sheng Chuyi, “Before I came to pick you up. How do you like it?”
Shen Zhaozhao was both surprised and not surprised, “So the very important thing you mentioned this morning was about coming back here to arrange things?”
“Yes, although this is just our temporary place, I still wanted you to live more comfortably.”
His sudden effort really made it feel was their temporary little home.
Thinking about the previous night, Shen Zhaozhao knew that he was planning to start a real cohabitation life with her.
As for before, they were merely sharing a lease.

When Sheng Chuyi came to knock on her door, she blocked him outside and said, “You were the one who suggested sleeping in separate rooms. I still prefer sleeping alone in a big bed, so you’ll just have to make do with the small bed next door!”
