Shen Zhaozhao pushed the door open and saw a boy lounging on the sofa with his feet up, playing games on his phone, not even bothering to lift his head at the sound of the door.

This was a typical boy’s room, summed up in one word–messy.

“Hello, I’m Shen Zhaozhao,” she introduced herself, “I’m a classmate of your tutor, Song Ning, who couldn’t make it today because she was busy, so she asked me to come and tutor you.”
The latter snorted lightly, “Is she really busy, or just can’t teach?”
It seemed someone was quite aware of himself!
Shen Zhaozhao didn’t elaborate further, but rather looked at him and said, “So, do you want to continue gaming, or shall we start now?”
Giving her a playful look, he sat up and asked, “You mean, I can keep playing games?”
“Of course!” Shen Zhaozhao nodded.
“But isn’t my mom paying you to tutor me?”
Shen Zhaozhao: “So, that’s why I’m asking you. You can continue playing if you want, or if you’re ready to start the lesson, we can begin. However, I’ll make it clear, tutoring is from nine to eleven. Any time wasted because of you is not my responsibility. Anyway, when time’s up, I’ll leave.”
“Interesting! Alright, then you find yourself a spot to sit!” After saying that, he picked up his phone and started another round of the game.
After looking around, Shen Zhaozhao walked over and sat next to him.
He focused on his game and ignored her, also curious to see what she was up to.
After watching for a while, Shen Zhaozhao commented, “Your teammates are not very good!” He did have good skills; he had taken several kills within the first three minutes, but his teammates were really holding him back.
Getting frustrated, he looked up at her and said, “You play too?”
Shen Zhaozhao pointed at the in-game lousy teammate and said, “Better than him a little.”
“Want to play a round?” he invited.
“Sure! But if I win, you have to pay attention in class afterward.”
At this, he couldn’t help but laugh, “So you were waiting for this, huh?”
“What, scared?” Shen Zhaozhao raised an eyebrow.
“Fine! If you can really beat me, I’ll give you that credit today, but what if you lose?”
Shen Zhaozhao: “If I lose, it’s like I was never here today, you keep playing your games, and I won’t charge for the tutoring, how about that?”
“Deal, let’s settle on that!” His mom had hired many tutors over the years, and some had tried to get on his good side by playing games with him, but they’d all left with their tails between their legs after one round.
He didn’t believe this girl could really beat him.
