“Really?” Xia Miao’s eyes brightened.
“Yeah!” Shen Zhaozhao nodded.
Xia Miao pursed her lips and gave Shen Zhaozhao a forced smile. “Actually, it’s okay if I get eliminated. I just don’t want to drag others down because of me.”
Shen Zhaozhao got up from the bed and said, “I’ll join you!”

“I’m not sleepy now!” she said.
“Then great, let’s work hard together!” Xia Miao smiled, then she lifted her blanket and moved over, making room on half of the bed for Shen Zhaozhao.
Shen Zhaozhao crawled over, casually picked up a book, and snuggled under the other’s blanket.
Xia Miao was looking at the problems the teacher had explained during the day, while Shen Zhaozhao was looking at the Olympic Mathematics textbook she had gotten from Sheng Chuyi before.
Xia Miao glanced at her unintentionally and saw her flipping through the book very quickly.
Xia Miao thought she was probably just wanting to keep her company, and she probably wasn’t really taking in anything from the book.
She felt deeply moved.
Suddenly, there was movement from the bed next to them, and two figures got up from their beds, each with a book in hand, squeezing onto Xia Miao’s bed as well.

They took out all the tools they could use for lighting and discussed and studied together under the dim light.
The next day, everyone from the dormitory went to the classroom with dark circles under their eyes.
Xu Siyan looked at them in surprise, “What happened to you all? Why do you look so listless?”
Shen Zhaozhao gave him a glare and said, “Girl stuff, none of your business!”
The second week of assessments quickly arrived.
Besides attending classes during the day, Sheng Chuyi helped them with problem-solving every night.
Even after returning to the dormitory, they continued to drill through problems, everyone working hard until very late. With everyone studying so intensely, even Shen Zhaozhao felt embarrassed to slack off anymore.
