Zhaozhao’s mother couldn’t argue with her and didn’t have the patience to listen to her rambling, so she turned her head directly to Sheng Chuyi and said, "Don’t indulge her too much, otherwise this girl will think she can reach the sky."
"I understand, Aunt Ran, don’t worry, I will look after her and not let her mess around," Sheng Chuyi responded.
Zhaozhao’s mother nodded her head and, without giving Shen Zhaozhao another look, finished her meal and went to work with Daddy Zhaozhao.
Only Shen Zhaozhao and Sheng Chuyi were left in the house, and Shen Zhaozhao stayed in the kitchen to wash the dishes with Sheng Chuyi. Of course, it was mostly Sheng Chuyi washing, as he didn’t let Shen Zhaozhao lift a finger.
Shen Zhaozhao just stood there, watching him. His pale, slender fingers with distinct joints scooped up the bowls from the water, then dried them with a towel. Inexplicably, she felt a sense of guilt.
Such beautiful hands, being used for household chores, was simply a waste of natural resources.
Shen Zhaozhao shifted her gaze from his hands to his face and began talking to herself, "Tsk tsk, who’s Prince of Snail is this? Oh, it’s mine!"
Sheng Chuyi couldn’t help but laugh and cry, as he finished drying the last bowl and put it in the cupboard. Then he picked up the towel, dried his hands, and turned to Shen Zhaozhao, "Shall we go? Didn’t you want to go play in the snow?"
Shen Zhaozhao’s eyes brightened, and she followed him with a giggle, "Do you also think I’m a handful?"
"Not at all." The girl might be a bit troublesome, but that was perfect since he was too quiet. She made up for the missing pieces in his life.
Shen Zhaozhao didn’t believe him, "Don’t comfort me, I know I don’t have many good points, even my own mother disapproves of me."
"Aunt Ran cares about you too."
"I know she cares about me, but..." Shen Zhaozhao’s face turned from sullen to smiling in a second, "Being alive, the most important thing is to enjoy yourself when you can." Health can be taken care of anytime, but such heavy snow only comes once every few years, so naturally, play first, worry later.

Downstairs in the residential area, many children were running around in the snow. There were also parents who were building snowmen with their kids.

And Yiyi probably wouldn’t let her do it anyway.

"I’m fine!" Shen Zhaozhao shook her head and suddenly knelt down, grabbed a snowball, and threw it at Sheng Chuyi.
Sheng Chuyi was momentarily taken aback, then looked helpless as he came to his senses.
Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t help but burst into laughter at his stunned expression.
"Stop it, your surgical wound has just healed and isn’t completely back to normal yet. If you don’t want it to reopen and to be stitched up again, then just stay put," Sheng Chuyi reminded her with indulgence and a touch of helplessness.
