Sweetlove: Spoiled by My Childhood Sweetheart Chapter 520

"Who exactly did you find?" On the way back to their new home, Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t help but ask curiously.

"You’ll know when you see her!" Sheng Chuyi smiled, but wouldn’t reveal the answer.

"So secretive." He wouldn’t say, and Shen Zhaozhao didn’t bother to guess, as she would meet them soon anyway.

Upon arriving at the new home, as soon as they entered, they saw luggage at the entrance that looked somewhat familiar. When Shen Zhaozhao saw the person sitting in the living room, her eyes immediately lit up.

"Mom, why are you here?" Shen Zhaozhao ran excitedly toward the familiar figure.

After the honeymoon, she had stayed at her parents’ house for two days, but since Sheng Chuyi needed to rush back to deal with Company matters and was not comfortable leaving her alone, he had brought her back as well.

The mother and daughter hadn’t been together for many days, so it was a surprise for Shen Zhaozhao to see her all of a sudden.

Zhaozhao’s mother stood up and said to her daughter, "Your dad and I were worried about you. Knowing that Yiyi is busy, and your mother-in-law has to take care of Little Ali, we decided to retire early and come here specifically to take care of you." Having only one daughter, after much thought, they decided that coming themselves would be better.

The two of them had savings and received dividends every year; they didn’t need the money from their jobs. So, they resigned quite happily.

"Wow, there’s no one as good as Mom in this world!" Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t help but throw herself into her mom’s arms.

Zhaozhao’s mother said with a look of disgust, "Be careful, you’re pregnant and about to be a mother yourself, yet you’re still acting so impetuous."

"Don’t worry, I’m being careful. By the way, where’s Dad?" Shen Zhaozhao looked around, but didn’t see her father anywhere.

Didn’t they say her dad was coming too?

Zhaozhao’s mother replied, "Your dad went to buy groceries; he said he’s going to cook something delicious for you later."

Shen Zhaozhao said gleefully, "My dad loves me the most. I say, you two might as well settle down in Jing City from now on. It’s convenient to take care of each other if you live nearby. The apartment above us is still vacant; you guys can live upstairs, and you won’t even need to buy a house."

"We’ll see! We’ve come this time to make sure you’re taken care of first," she replied.

They had come this time to take care of her until the baby was born; they hadn’t thought that far ahead about the future.

"Mom, I think Zhaozhao is right, everyone living together, having a lively household, and she won’t have to always worry about you." Sheng Chuyi also joined in to persuade.

Zhaozhao’s mother showed disdain for her daughter’s words, but her heart was full of concern, or else she wouldn’t have quit her job to come and take care of her. However, leaving the city they had lived in for decades to move to Jing City wasn’t a decision that could be made in a moment, "I know you both are filial, but your dad and I have lived in the county for decades. We are used to the old neighbours and streets, and besides, there are elderly there that need care."

After all, it’s not easy to just pick up and leave a place where they had lived their entire lives. However, they also knew that with their daughter here, they didn’t want to be too far away; moving to Jing City would be the best solution.

But if they really were to move here, it wouldn’t be right to stay in their daughter’s house indefinitely, they needed a long-term plan.

And could a big city possibly be as comfortable as a small county town?

"No worries, you can take this time to adapt to life in Jing City," Shen Zhaozhao said with her carefree attitude.

If her parents could move over that would be best, but if they truly didn’t wish to, Shen Zhaozhao didn’t want to make them uncomfortable. She couldn’t force them to change their lives for her sake.
