In conclusion, the teacher didn’t forget to admonish them, "You are here to participate in life practice, not to go on a tour. You all must follow the school’s arrangements."
Tang Dou spoke in a tone indicating she couldn’t care less, "Fine, if you’re not worried about us fighting during this period, then just keep us together."

So, the dorms were not changed in the end.
Back at the dorm, Li Mengtao was already inside. Seeing the two come in, she glared fiercely at them.
Tang Dou said bluntly, "Stop glaring, you’re ugly enough, and glaring makes you uglier. We don’t like living with you either, but if the class teacher hadn’t prohibited switching, we wouldn’t want to share a dorm with you. If you really can’t stand us, go talk to the class teacher yourself; if not, just behave. I hope for these few days, we’ll stay out of each other’s way and don’t let us hear you nagging needlessly or stirring up trouble."
Li Mengtao’s face twisted slightly with anger as Tang Dou taunted her, "Tang Dou, why the arrogance? Always following others around, standing up for them, what exactly are you after?" she said, casting a suggestive look in Sheng Ning’an’s direction, the provocative intent clear.
Tang Dou shot her a look, "Don’t try to stir up trouble. Ning An doesn’t bother arguing with you, but I’m different. I’m petty; if you bully my friend, you’re bullying me."
Li Mengtao scoffed, "You consider others your friends, but do they consider you theirs? Haven’t you noticed that you’ve been yelling for ages and no one else has said a word? They’re just using you. You’re the only fool here who thinks some people are good," she said, clearly referring to Sheng Ning’an without saying her name directly.
Unfortunately for her, Tang Dou wasn’t swayed by her provocation, "Don’t project your malice onto everyone else. Just because you’re twisted inside, you think everyone else is the same."
Li Mengtao rolled her eyes, "I’m just kindly reminding you, don’t be sold by someone one day and end up counting money for them!"

Others were practically pointing their fingers and scolding her, so Sheng Ning’an certainly couldn’t pretend not to hear. She initially stayed quiet only because she couldn’t be bothered with certain people; after all, if a dog bites you, you can’t bite back, but that didn’t mean she had no temper.
She might not bite a dog back, but if a dog kept biting, she would beat it off.
Sheng Ning’an: "Li Mengtao, I remember I’ve never offended you, right? Tell me, why do you keep holding a grudge against me?"
"What else could it be? It’s definitely because she’s jealous!" Tang Dou interjected leisurely from the side.
Li Mengtao, with a dark face, retorted, "What nonsense, what do I have to be jealous of her for?"
Tang Dou raised an eyebrow and drawled, almost as if counting on her fingers, "Well, there’s quite a lot actually. You’re jealous because Ning An’s family background is better than yours, jealous she is prettier than you. Oh, and jealous she is more liked by boys. I recall the guy you liked recently confessed to Ning An, right?"
