Sheng Chuyi’s lips unconsciously curled up, but he quickly flattened his expression and said, “You’re not very bright, you definitely should find someone smart to balance it out.”
Shen Zhaozhao glared at him furiously and said, “Don’t think that just because you are handsome and smart, you can freely attack others.”

Shen Zhaozhao felt his mood had become more unpredictable lately. She heard that when girls reach a certain age, they start having periods during which their mood isn’t great. Could it be that boys experience something similar?
The bike passed through the school gate’s plane tree avenue.
This season, the plane leaves, dyed in shades of deep and light yellow, fell from the branches. The wheels rolled over them, emitting a subtle, crisp, and soft noise.
“Stop, stop, stop!” Shen Zhaozhao suddenly shouted loudly.
“What’s wrong?” Sheng Chuyi braked suddenly, propped the bike with one foot, and turned to look at her.
Shen Zhaozhao pointed to the roadside and said, “Look, there’s a Vendor selling ice sweet dumplings, want some? It’s my treat!”
“No thanks!” Sheng Chuyi declined.
He wasn’t interested in street food.
“Alright then! If you don’t want any, I’ll eat by myself.” Shen Zhaozhao jumped off the bike, but instead of leaving, she lingered and looked at Sheng Chuyi expectantly.
“What is it?” Sheng Chuyi asked.
“Well, I just remembered, I’ve run out of allowance for the month. So…”
Shen Zhaozhao gave him a “you know what I mean” look.
So she planned to use his money to treat him?
Sheng Chuyi said, “If I remember correctly, it’s only been a week into the month.”
Shen Zhaozhao pursed her lips, “It’s because I had to buy so much stuff since school started.”
Sheng Chuyi had no choice but to pull out his wallet from his pocket and hand it to her.
“Thanks!” Shen Zhaozhao grabbed the wallet and ran off quickly.
It wasn’t long before she returned with a bowl of ice sweet dumplings in hand.
Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t wait to open the box; the round ice sweet dumplings were topped with various fruits and nuts, drizzled with brown sugar ice slush, making them look very appetizing.
