After a while, Xu Weiran spoke up, "My parents are missing you. Do you want to come and see them tomorrow?"
"Sure!" Sheng Ning’an blurted out, and it was only after she had finished speaking that she realized she might have agreed a little too quickly. Her cheeks warmed slightly as she said, "Then I’m hanging up!"
Only then did the two end their call.
Early the next morning, Sheng Ning’an started rifling through her wardrobe. Despite the clothes filling an entire wall, she couldn’t find a single outfit that satisfied her.
It seemed she might need to buy new clothes.
By the time she had changed and come downstairs, her family was eating breakfast in the dining room.
"Dressed up so nicely, are you going out?" The old lady always loved seeing her granddaughter dressed up prettily; it made her happy inside.
Sheng Chuyi glanced at his daughter and said, "You’ve been out for so many days, and as soon as you’re back, you want to go out again? You’re not even planning to stay home and spend time with your grandpa and grandma."
As soon as she heard her son criticizing her eldest granddaughter, Qin Suxin immediately objected, "The child is rarely on vacation; of course, she should meet friends and go out more. You only know how to lecture her, why don’t you talk about spending more time with us?"
He was wrong; he shouldn’t have said anything.
Sheng Ning’an stepped forward, taking her grandma’s hand, "Grandma is always the best to me. Don’t worry, starting from tomorrow, I’ll stay at home every day to keep my grandma company."
The old lady smiled and patted her hand, "Don’t listen to your dad. Go wherever you want to have fun. It’s good to go out with friends more often, and if you need money, just tell me. A girl only has a few years of carefree time. Once you get married, have a family and children, you won’t have the freedom you have now."
"Thank you, grandma. My grandma loves me the most!"

"No need!" After Xu Weiran replied, he ushered her into the car.
