Chapter 80: Chapter 80 Why Didn’t You Wake Me Up?
“What was I like before?” Sheng Chuyi looked up at her and asked.
“Well…” Shen Zhaozhao was at a loss for words, “anyway, you were much cuter than you are now!”
Not like now, getting more and more controlling over her.
“Alright, get on with your homework!” Seeing that she could not come up with an answer, Sheng Chuyi averted his gaze.

Qin Suxin bought a double desk specifically so the two kids could do their homework together.
Neither of them found it too cramped to share one side each.
Shen Zhaozhao spread out her homework, but after writing just a few words, her eyelids started fighting each other.

When Sheng Chuyi finished a set of homework and looked up, he saw the girl passed out on the desk, drooling all over it.
“Shen Zhaozhao, if you’re sleepy, go back to sleep,” Sheng Chuyi said helplessly.
“Oh!” Shen Zhaozhao was woken up and stood up groggily.
But instead of going back to her home, she headed straight for Sheng Chuyi’s bed behind her, saying, “I can’t, I’m so sleepy, I don’t even want to walk. I’ll lie down for a while.”

Before Sheng Chuyi could finish speaking, he saw Shen Zhaozhao collapse onto the bed with her eyes closed. She even snuggled into the blanket, found a comfortable position, and drifted off into the arms of Morpheus.
“Shen Zhaozhao, go sleep in your own room,” Sheng Chuyi said, frowning as he called her.
“Stop it!” Shen Zhaozhao muttered, pulling a nearby blanket over her head.
Sheng Chuyi had no way to deal with her and let her be, watching her for a while before returning to the desk.
His plan was to let her sleep for a little before waking her up.
But once the girl fell into a deep sleep, no amount of calling could wake her.
Qin Suxin woke up at half-past eleven to drink water and saw her own brat coming out of the room with a blanket, which inevitably led her to ask, “What’s going on?”
Sheng Chuyi: “Zhaozhao fell asleep in my room; I’ll go sleep in the guest room.”
“Oh! Then you go ahead.” After Qin Suxin finished speaking, she went to the kitchen, not the least bit concerned about the girl sleeping in his room.
What could happen between two little kids who just started middle school?
Shen Zhaozhao woke up the next day bewildered to find herself in Sheng Chuyi’s bed.
With sleepy eyes, she emerged from the room to see Aunt Suxin’s family all up.
Seeing her, they smiled and greeted her, “Zhaozhao, awake?”
Shen Zhaozhao, blushing, walked over somewhat embarrassingly, greeting everyone while explaining, “Good morning, Uncle Sheng, good morning, Aunt Suxin, I was so tired from doing homework last night that I accidentally fell asleep in Yiyi’s room.”
“No problem, Aunt Suxin would love for you to stay at our house every day,” Qin Suxin said with a laugh, calling her over, “Hungry? Come and have breakfast!”
Qin Suxin had a prenatal check-up today, so as soon as breakfast was over, Sheng Yan Cheng accompanied her out.
And once again, it was just Shen Zhaozhao and Sheng Chuyi left at home.
Shen Zhaozhao, while eating breakfast, looked across at Sheng Chuyi and said, “I fell asleep in your room last night, why didn’t you wake me up?”
Sheng Chuyi glanced at her.
It’s not that he hadn’t tried to call her, it was just that someone was sleeping like a pig and couldn’t be woken up.
“Hurry up and eat, and after that, get straight to your homework,” Sheng Chuyi told her.
At the mention of homework, Shen Zhaozhao felt a headache coming on: “Homework again? Boss Zhou isn’t as ruthless as you!”
Sheng Chuyi coldly reminded her, “You only did three questions last night, what do you think?”
Hearing this, Shen Zhaozhao felt sheepish, her expression a mix of innocence and helplessness: “It’s not all my fault. Every time I study, time just seems to crawl. It’s like everything stops. I think I’ve studied for two hours, then I look at the clock, and only five minutes have passed. I figure if I just keep studying hard, I might live forever.”
As if she didn’t have enough crazy theories!
