Xiao Yue replied, “We’re all old classmates, and everyone faces difficulties sometimes. It’s only right to help each other out. I’ll go back and start gathering the money, wait for my message.”

“Not me, Shi Yue. She’s in some trouble and needs money. You know I only get that much living expense a month, and I’ve spent most of it already. Just consider it as doing a brother a favor.”

“Suit yourself!” Zhou Xian gave him a look and, seeing that the other party was willing to be a sucker, couldn’t be bothered to persuade him further, so he transferred another three thousand yuan.
