"An’an, are you really moving out?"
Watching Sheng Ning’an pack her suitcase and prepare to leave, Xue Xian and Tian Yu wanted to persuade her but didn’t know how.
In fact, they too wanted to move out.
The dorm was always under a heavy atmosphere, and even speaking required caution; they were reaching their limits.
But changing dorms requires an application, it’s not something you can do just like that. Otherwise, Shi Yue wouldn’t have been calling to switch dorms for so long and still be stuck with them in the same one.
Moreover, with three people applying to leave the dorm, it would seem they were deliberately isolating Shi Yue.
Besides, Shi Yue’s mood had been bad these past few days. If something were to happen, they wouldn’t be able to explain it.
They suddenly felt a bit envious of An’an, she could just move out without all these worries, unlike them who had to consider this and that.
"Will you come back after you move out?" Shi Yue and Xue Xian were a bit reluctant to let her go.
Sheng Ning’an glanced towards Shi Yue’s direction and said, "We’ll see!"
Saying that they’d see, but both understood that as long as Shi Yue was still there, she probably wouldn’t move back.
"Where are you moving to? Do you need our help?"
She had decided to move out on a whim. Although she’d thought about moving out before, the plan was initially to do so after the first year. Now, having suddenly decided to leave, she hadn’t even found a place to stay yet.
Sheng Ning’an moved out in a hurry, only taking one suitcase. She planned to come back to gather the rest of her things another time.
As she left, Shi Yue kept staring at her with a gloomy expression.
Once out of the dorm, Sheng Ning’an drove straight to Xu Weiran’s place.
Alone, she carried her suitcase upstairs.
As she exited the elevator, she ran into the girl next door, and the two nodded in greeting.
When Xu Weiran came home from work and opened the door, he was surprised to see Sheng Ning’an sitting on the sofa. As he changed his shoes, he said, "Why didn’t you call me when you came?"
"Obviously to give you a surprise."
Well, it sure was a surprise!
"Have you eaten?" Xu Weiran asked.
"Not yet!" Sheng Ning’an shook her head. If he’d been any later, she was planning to order takeout.
"Wait, I’ll cook for you." Xu Weiran headed straight to the kitchen.
Sheng Ning’an got up and followed him in.
Xu Weiran skillfully washed and cooked the vegetables while she watched from the side.
But soon enough, Xu Weiran shooed her out.
She wasn’t much help standing there, and the kitchen was small, so another person made it cramped.
Sheng Ning’an obediently went to the living room.
A while later, Xu Weiran called her for dinner.
Not wanting her to go hungry, Xu Weiran kept the meal simple: two dishes and a soup.
After dinner, Sheng Ning’an took on the task of doing the dishes—by putting them into the dishwasher.
Xu Weiran brewed coffee, brought it to the living room, and finally noticed the suitcase beside the sofa.
"What happened?" Xu Weiran looked at her.
Sheng Ning’an took the coffee from his hand, sat cross-legged on the sofa, and said, "Nothing much, I’ve moved out of the dorm. I’m planning to stay here temporarily until I find a place. My boyfriend shouldn’t mind hosting me for a few days, right?"
"Of course, I don’t mind."
In fact, he wouldn’t mind if this girl stayed indefinitely.
"Why not just skip finding a place and stay here? The bed in the study is still there. If you don’t like sleeping in the study, you can use the master bedroom instead."
