Switched Life:I Went Viral on a Family Variety Show Chapter 122

[Sure enough, a focused woman is the most beautiful—Sang Ning looks like she’s glowing!]

[This woman is just too charismatic, even her haters have turned into her little fangirls.]

[You’re all paying attention to Sang Ning’s explanation, but am I the only one wondering where the piano music in the exhibition hall came from? It was way too mesmerizing!]

Various nebulae appeared and vanished on the dome screen. As the hall dimmed again, Sang Ning’s explanation finally came to an end.

In the darkness, the crowd remained immersed in the lecture, still savoring every moment.

Soon after, a bright light illuminated their surroundings, and the hall instantly brightened.

"Hello, everyone, I am the guide responsible for this explanation."

A crisp, professional voice rang out. Everyone turned to look and saw a young woman in a white shirt and pencil skirt standing by the hallway exit.

Under the simultaneous gaze of many eyes, the guide became flustered, unsure of where to place her hands and feet.

The crowd’s eyes didn’t hold any anticipation, instead giving her the impression that she wasn’t needed at all.

Confused, the guide asked politely with a smile, "Excuse me, dear visitors, did I miss something?"

[You missed the moment when Sang Ning was practically glowing.]

[Haha, didn’t anyone inform the guide that she wasn’t needed while Sang Ning was explaining? Sang Ning practically did her job for her.]

[Sang Ning: I didn’t intend for this to happen; this whole thing started with a scream from a hater.]

No one answered the guide, but Chu Xi suddenly let out a scream.

"Ah! Shen Yi, is it really you?"

Chu Xi covered her mouth in disbelief, looking toward a corner of the exhibition hall. Following her gaze, the crowd noticed Shen Yi elegantly rising from the piano.

He had intended to quietly merge back into the group, but Chu Xi’s scream had attracted everyone’s attention to him.

Shen Yi looked momentarily awkward but quickly regained his composure.

Moments ago, he had felt that something was missing from Sang Ning’s explanation. Spotting a piano in the corner of the hall, he couldn’t resist the urge to walk over and play a piece—and he actually did.

"Oh my god, Yiyi, just how many surprises are you hiding? You can actually play the piano!" Song Shiye exclaimed passionately.

Song Shiye, who knew all about Roche, was well aware that Shen Yi’s role in the group had always been "musical idiot." How could a musical idiot possibly play such a beautifully flowing piano piece?

Shen Yi seemed unwilling to explain, only offering a slight nod before blending back into the crowd.

[Surely Shen Yi didn’t hire someone to play for him, right? I can’t believe the background sound for Sang Ning’s explanation was played by him.]

[I remember Shen Yi being a musical idiot. Since debuting, he’s never performed any instrument in public. If the piano piece just now was truly his, calling him that might actually be unfair.]

[Don’t forget about Shen Yi’s former teammate Qingyue, the musical expert who can play anything. Maybe Shen Yi picked up this skill from Qingyue?]

[If that’s the case, then Shen Yi is pretty despicable—using Qingyue to climb the ladder to superstardom. Without Qingyue, who would even care about Shen Yi?]

The guide was still standing at the end of the hallway when some program staff approached her, chuckling awkwardly, "Sorry, ma’am, our guest has already completed the explanation for the visitors. Sorry for the trouble."

"Who is it that’s so capable?" The guide scanned the people in front of her quickly, her tone carrying a hint of disdain.

The nebula exhibition hall featured dozens of different nebulae. For a layperson to navigate and explain even one or two of them fluently was quite impressive. She herself had dedicated considerable effort to preparing for the guide role.

Even with her astronomy background, it had taken her nearly half a month to fully digest all knowledge about these dozens of nebulae.

She suspected the staff were just brushing her off. After all, the guest they mentioned was likely one of these celebrities. Celebrities, as far as she was concerned, didn’t have much scientific aptitude.

The staff discreetly pointed at Sang Ning, leaning closer to whisper, "Ma’am, the guest who completed the explanation is her."

The guide looked up to see Sang Ning surrounded by two young women.

Sang Ning stood tall, towering half a head above the two girls.

The girls were gazing up at her, their eyes sparkling like stars, hands clasped tightly under their chins in admiration, chatting excitedly and apparently asking her questions.

But the surrounding noise drowned out their words, preventing the guide from hearing their conversation clearly. Her lips twitched in a dismissive smirk.

"Figures. These visitors are all here to fangirl; who would care about listening to a professional explanation?"

The guide was skeptical of Sang Ning. As a celebrity, her stunning looks were certainly undeniable—but as for any real astronomical knowledge? It would be a miracle if she could even name all the planets in the Solar System.

"If you’re not genuinely interested in educating your audience, stop wasting our time. Besides explanation work, we have research tasks to complete as well." The guide barked at the staff before storming off in a huff.

The staff scratched their heads in confusion, mumbling, "Sang Ning’s explanations were so outstanding—they could be edited into standalone teaching videos. Aren’t we sincerely aiming to educate?"

After visiting the nebula exhibition hall, all the guests were asked by the program staff to record interview videos and rate the hosting arrangements for the day.

Once the interviews were complete, the guests escorted the visitors to the cable car station. As the visitors boarded the cable cars to descend the mountain, the day’s hosting duties officially came to an end.

Much to Sang Ning’s surprise, right before saying goodbye, Zhu Qi and Wang Yun each gave her a warm hug.

They claimed to have been won over by her explanations and announced themselves as members of "Ning Juli" moving forward.

Sang Ning considered herself fairly adept at surfing the internet, but she had no clue what "Ning Juli" was supposed to mean.

It wasn’t until Wang Yun showed her phone that Sang Ning finally understood the situation.

Damn! To hell with it—she actually had real, live fans now.

Without her even realizing it, they had created a Weibo super topic and an official fan club. Apparently, "Ning Juli" was her fandom’s name.

Rarely did Sang Ning come across a problem that truly puzzled her, but try as she might, she couldn’t figure out why her fans had chosen this name.

After flipping through Wang Yun’s phone without finding an explanation for the origin of the fandom’s name, Sang Ning decided to ask directly. "Does ’Ning Juli’ have some special meaning I don’t know about?"
