A series of horn sounds spread through the sky, and the entire demon horde’s expressions shook before they all flew towards the space wormhole in the sky.
The Sword Emperor’s spirit thought body held the sword with both hands, and the world suddenly quieted. A terrifying golden sword light tore through the sky, turning into a stream of light and rushing into the horde of demons.
The sound of terrifying body explosions echoed. Under this one sword, at least one million demons perished, including two top-tier Demon Kings.

As soon as the other martial artists heard these words, they flew back to Rainbow City to rest. They were all mentally exhausted. Outside the city, corpses were scattered as far as the eye could see, with blood everywhere. The corpses of demons were not much use to martial artists.
City lord’s guards emerged from Rainbow City to identify and bury the corpses of human martial artists. They ignored the demon corpses but would certainly bury the bodies of human martial artists.
All of Rainbow City was shrouded in blood. When the battle began, the city had seventy to eighty million martial artists, but only about three million survived. The rest had all died in battle.
In battles with demons, survival was a luxury. During this invasion, at least a billion people in the Central Divine Domain had died. Not far from Rainbow City, a city of roughly the same size was entirely slaughtered, and none of its martial artists survived. All became demon fodder.
While everyone rested, news arrived from all four directions of the Celestial Martial Continent. This wave of demon attacks did not target only the Central Divine Domain but the entire continent.
In the North Sea, the assault of the Black Demon Nether King was halted by the Snow Emperor. But the Black Demon Nether King was not alone. He led twenty Demon Kings, capturing and plundering, and took over half of the North Sea. The martial artists there were either enslaved or killed.
Tens of thousands of miles from the Celestial Martial Continent, the Black Demon Nether King paused. He dared not approach the Celestial Martial Continent because word had come from the Restricted Area that the Demon Emperor’s attack had failed. If he guessed correctly, he would soon retreat from the North Sea.
In the east, the Demon Blood Horn King occupied over a dozen domains in a short time. Fortunately, the martial artists there were forewarned, causing no significant casualties.
