A purple shadow flew around the trees.
Rising to the canopy of one, it stopped, looking into the distance.
There was a stone wall far up front.
On the wall several people stood, quietly looking at the area below.
Beyond the wall was a town –
With many buildings and people the size of ants walking around, it seemed prosperous.
But the purple shadow was able to see more.
Every single one of these ant-like people had vigorous vitality and a murderous intent nearly unparalleled to anything it had seen before.
Just as the purple shadow was looking at the situation, inside one of the four towers of the stone wall, someone was also looking at the shadow.
"Spy?" the tall man guessed when he looked at the shadow.
Then he shook his head, "No, spies aren’t so weak. Only at the third Skin Refining stage, hmmm..."
He couldn’t discern it.
But when he looked at the purple shadow, he saw its true figure. It was a shining purple butterfly, extremely beautiful yet carrying a deadly aura.
He was even more confused, "This... it’s coming from the east, the territory of those Witchcraft Tribes, but it has the power of insects from the territory of those Gu Tribes in the west, but this little butterfly... it looks like it has... both?"
The man didn’t wait any longer and jumped out of the tower.
Each of his steps carried him tens of metres away, right towards the ground before the wall. With more jumps, he nearly reached the forest around the fortress.
The purple butterfly, seeing this, panicked and quickly flew away.
"Hmph, you think you can escape me?" the man looked at the butterfly with a sneer.
The moment he had seen it, his senses locked onto it.
He rushed forward with his might, quickly catching up with the butterfly.
At the end of the path, Teigu saw his butterfly quickly rushing back, surprised.
But just as he was about to connect with it and check what happened, he suddenly felt a strong pressure –
In shock he was barely able to activate his power!
A purple butterfly wing manifested behind him.
But it had just blinked once when the strong man instantly gripped him.
The wing behind him tried to move, but the added weight and pressure stopped it.
Looking at the boy in his arm, the man was confused but decided to knock him out first.

In a damp and dark underground space, only torches flickered on the side, barely providing any light.
"Hey, boy, wake up!" the strong man who knocked out Teigu shook him at this moment.
Opening his eyes, Teigu instantly sensed danger!
The purple wing behind him manifested, but just as he was about to flap, suddenly!

The sound of a chain being pulled could be heard. Teigu’s flight which hadn’t even taken off was cut abruptly.
"Well the Witch Binding Chains work on you, so your power is really partially that of a witch. But it’s weird, your wing looks more like the Beast Transformation of our Warrior Tribes?" still curious, the strong man couldn’t understand why so many different powers were found in one young man.
"Why are you so stupid? Don’t you know that all tribes have combined powers? It’s just that such a power is weaker than a single power of a Gu, Warrior or Witch tribesman." Another voice arrived.
"Fortress Chief!" the man called out to his chief while hitting his heart with his palm, showing respect.
"Yes, you did a good job intercepting him. I will continue the interrogation. You can leave."
The warrior hit his chest once more before leaving.
Teigu was initially perplexed at the situation, but when he saw the body markings on these people, he understood who they were.
They were a Warrior Tribe! A real tribe!
Warriors focused mainly on their body, cultivating it while fighting and eating beasts. There were various paths, such as beast warriors, wild warriors, spirit warriors, etc.
Looking at these, Teigu had a vague guess that this was likely a Spirit Warrior Tribe.
"Little boy, why did you enter our Yaosha Tribe Fortress?" the fortress chief asked Teigu when he saw that the boy was rather quiet and didn’t look stubborn.
"Yaosha Tribe?" Teigu asked, confused.
This instantly confused the man instead, "You don’t know the territory you entered?"
Teigu shook his head, "I was just looking for a town. I didn’t know I entered any territory!"
"If you want to enter a town, aren’t you going to enter the territory of a tribe?" the chief asked.
"Oh," Teigu said embarrassed. This was right. Only real tribes could manage towns and cities. Even those free cities had their own local powers and it was still a territory.
"Alright boy, just tell me where you come from and why you’re looking for a town."
"I lived in a village northwest from here, around fifty days of walk."
Teigu started, then seeing the man still looking at him, he continued, "Our village chief was a puppet of an evil Insect Cultivator!
He used the whole village as materials for his disgusting insects!
They... they killed the whole village!"
"Evil insect cultivator?" the man looked at Teigu’s wing then asked, "Aren’t you one too?"
"No, I cultivate..." he was about to say that it was a natural insect, but was it? Didn’t it also feed on humans...?
Just then, a thought spread in his mind –
No, they were clearly a Natural Dream Insect. He only used humans to summon them and feed them, but they could do well even without humans!
Looking at the fortress chief, he shook his head, "No, my insect is a natural insect, a good insect found in the wild!

The Fortress Chief believed Teigu because he could see that the insect power of the boy was rather special but didn’t have the disgusting smell of demon Gu.
If he thought Teigu was a Demon Gu Controller, he would’ve long killed him.
He looked at Teigu before turning around and called out to the guards outside, "Gather! Call the scout! I have to send a message!"
Just then, he turned to Teigu and asked, "How did you escape?"
"I killed him."
