The night stretched across the sky.
Outside, there seemed to be a wind rising; the usual distant clouds were swallowed up, the wind becoming fiercer, slapping against the windows.
Without thinking, one knew how cold it was outside now.
Yet, the room seemed to become unusually sultry because of her arrival.
The air seemed to be steaming, slowly evaporating his soaking wet reasoning.
Lu Xiao clenched his fists, and when he looked at her again, he bit his teeth and said, “Do you think all men will like you? That all want to sleep with you?”
Wen Xian heard the sarcasm in his words, yet she didn’t care, her burning gaze fixed on him: “What if they do? But I only want to sleep, with you.”
Only want, to, sleep, with, you.
Lu Xiao’s pupils suddenly constricted, his long oppressed eyes tinged with a hint of crimson.
He clenched his fists, possibly infuriated or provoked by her words, his abdominal muscles tensed even more, his firm, strong eight-pack abs becoming more pronounced.
Unaware of the harsh aura around him, she stepped closer to him.
Her delicate wrist was suddenly seized.
The force he exerted was astonishing; Wen Xian let out a muffled groan, feeling his scorching skin for the first time.
However, he never took that step forward.
Instead, nearly grinding his teeth, he said to her, “Wen Xian! I’m telling you, I’m not one of the people in your circle! Nor am I a man you can just sleep with whenever you want! Don’t try to apply your so-called carefree promiscuity on me!”
His earlobes and neck were swollen red, his veins slightly bulging!
Perhaps he was tempted by her, but beyond that temptation, there were many indefinable, inexplicable things…!
Having said that, he released her wrist, turned around to enter the room, stood in front of the window, his breathing disorderly, his chest undulating violently.
She seemed to have really angered him.
No one knew what he was really thinking!
