Knowing he was watching her, Yun Qiluo didn’t look at him at all.
She walked straight toward the stairs without glancing sideways.
Yan Yan saw that she was still sulking and couldn’t help but let his gaze darken.
This little thing had truly been spoiled by him; she dared to ignore him now.
He called her, "Yun Qiluo!"
The young girl paused for a moment, but didn’t turn her head.
She snorted proudly, and her steps even quickened.
Wang Ma behind them was looking bewildered, glancing back and forth between Yan Yan and Yun Qiluo.
For the first time, a deep sense of helplessness arose within Yan Yan.
He unconsciously softened his voice, "Stop it and come sit down."
Yun Qiluo finally stopped, looking at him from afar, but didn’t move.
The man patted the seat beside him, "Come here, I’ll put on the parenting channel for you."
The young girl’s eyes flickered, looking at the TV and then back at him.
After a long while, she pouted, looking reluctant, and slowly walked over to him.
As soon as she reached Yan Yan’s side, he tugged her with his hand, making her exclaim as she fell right onto him the next second.
The man smoothly wrapped his arms around her soft, delicate body.
Seeing her puff her cheeks and not speak for a long time, refusing to look at him.
He couldn’t help but soften his voice and asked quietly, "Still mad?"
Upon hearing this, Yun Qiluo finally reacted.
She lifted her head and glared at him, accusing, "You were mean to me!"
Yan Yan sighed, "I wasn’t mean to you."
"Yes, you were!" Yun Qiluo’s earlier grievances suddenly surged up, her eyes reddening as tears began to fall, "And you won’t let me swim anymore! Why? The pool isn’t even yours!"
Yan Yan: "... It is mine."
"..." The young girl, mid-cry, forgot to continue her tears.
She hiccupped, then stubbornly rebutted, "I don’t care, you can’t do that."
Seeing her eyes red from crying, out of breath, Yan Yan felt an inexplicable dull ache in his chest.
"There, there," he gently placed his large hand on her head and stroked it, speaking in a mild tone, "I won’t be mean to you again."
Yun Qiluo looked at him again, unsure.
The tears had stopped flowing, but her eyes and nose were still red, making her look especially pitiful.
Seeing her , Yan Yan’s gaze deepened, his throat moved slightly.
For reasons unknown, he suddenly felt an urge to kiss her.
He tightened the arm around her waist, suppressing the inexplicable impulse.
Lowering his gaze, he said softly, "Really."
Housekeeper Chen, having tidied things up and returned, was first startled by the scene, thinking his old eyes were playing tricks on him.
Their master was actually... holding Miss Yun in the living room??
And seemingly comforting her??
When had he ever heard such a gentle tone from their master before!

Yun Qiluo, who had been burying her head in his arms and ignoring him, quietly lifted her head upon hearing this.
It took the man a good while before he squeezed out those embarrassing four words through gritted teeth, "Parenting channel."
