“It’s... your birthday today?” Qiao Qing asked, confused.
Mu Jinghang defenselessly smiled, “That’s right.”
Inside, he was growling, today isn’t my birthday!!

An army of horses galloped across Mu Jinghang’s heart. It was his “birthday”, why did Jun Yexuan himself dress like a groom?? What was he planning on doing?!
Jun Yexuan walked over and opened a bottle of wine. He poured for everyone and raised the glass, “Let us wish Mu Jinghang a happy birthday.”
Mu Jinghang raised his glass as well, “Thank you, third brother.”
Qiao Qing felt that something wasn’t right. But since both of them raised their glasses, she didn’t get a chance to think too much. She too, raised her glass, “Happy birthday.”
After that, Mu Jinghang asked Qiao Qing to drink with him every chance he got. He did all he could as the birthday boy of the day.
After Qiao Qing had three drinks, Jun Yexuan shook his head at Mu Jinghang.
He wanted her drunk, but he wasn’t going to kid about her health.
After dinner, Qiao Qing’s face had reddened.
Mu Jinghang got up after getting a look from Jun Yexuan, “It’s late. Thank you both for celebrating with me. I’m going to sleep. You should rest soon as well.”
Qiao Qing nodded. She stood up and felt her world turn upside down.
Jun Yexuan caught her as she stumbled. The way he stared at Qiao Qing was profound and difficult to read, “You’re drunk?”
Qiao Qing rubbed her temples. Even her voice changed, “I’m not.”
Mu Jinghang caught a glimpse of Jun Yexuan’s deep and serene eyes and cursed on the inside.
He leaned in and reminded Jun Yexuan, “Third brother, this is brother Qi’s family. Take it easy.”
“I don’t need you to remind me.” Jun Yexuan threw out that statement and picked Qiao Qing up princess style. He then walked upstairs.
