Lin Xiyan adjusted herself and also glared at him, “Are you going to curse at me like everyone on social media?”
Luo Chen had a dumbfounded look on his face.
He remembered all the things he had said and giggled, “That’s only if someone else got the role. Why didn’t you tell me earlier that you’re the main actress? No wonder you two seemed off when I talked on and on last time.”
He then cursed, “Fu Siying sure is shameless. I already cursed at her several days ago.”
“Look at how amateur her acting skills are. Where does she find the audacity to claim she’s the main actress for ‘Immortal’?! She’s purposely getting her fans to give Xiyan a hard time.”
The more he scrolled on the news, the darker his face grew, “***, there are people saying you got the role because you paid money for it. Do you look like someone who can afford to do that?!”

Luo Chen saw how unkind those two looked at him and knew that he had said the wrong thing again.
Quickly, he smiled, “Ah, I mean, I’m wrong. Wait, Xiyan, what made you want to become an actress? Also, the first time you act you land a lead role in ‘Immortal’? It’s really no wonder there is so much noise.”
“No matter how bad Fu Siying is at acting, she has some well-known projects. You’re a newbie and yet you’re placed in such an explosively popular production. Even Feng Ci’s fans wouldn’t support you, let alone Fu Siying’s fans.”
Qiao Qing replied, “This is just the beginning. They will accept her later.”
As if he understood, Luo Chen said “oh”, then looked ahead. Doubtfully, he asked, “Where are we going? The field isn’t this way.”
Qiao Qing looked him up and down. With a soft voice, she said, “Don’t you need to go home and change?”
Only then did Luo Chen realize that he was covered in green and yellow spots. When he raised his arm and sniffed himself, he frowned out of disgust.
“I do need to change. But, you guys go to the field first. If you get there late, you’ll get punished. I’ll go after I change.”
Then, he pointed his phone camera at himself and took a selfie, “This will work as proof. Or else the instructor will think I made up excuses.”
Qiao Qing shook her head, “Xiyan needs someone by her side right now to protect her. Or else she’ll get hurt. We’re going to go home first. Once you are changed, we can gather and think of some strategies.”
Luo Chen nodded, “Okay.”
When they left campus, a crowd of journalists rushed over, followed by fans and random people there for drama.
The entire street was blocked off.
Qiao Qing silently cursed at this and grabbed onto the other twos’ hands in case they got separated.
She tried to retreat back to campus but discovered that there was a whole group of people behind her too.
Now she could neither advance nor retreat.
The reporters shoved their mics into these three’s faces and asked very blunt questions.
“Ms. Lin, I heard you stole this role from Fu Siying, from Star Entertainment. She’s also your senior in this university. What do you have to say about that claim?”
“Ms. Lin, I heard that you’ve only been an extra once before, yet you got such an important role. You essentially stepped into heaven using one step. How did you achieve this?”
“Ms. Lin Xiyan, I heard actress Bai was amongst the people who went for the audition. How did you get the director to pick you over actress Bai and actress Fu?”

Other than the reporters’ sharp questions, the crowd of fans was also screaming shrilly.
