Qiao Qing flashed a faint smile, “Do you have any memories of your life before you turned 16?”
Fu Xiuyu was surprised by that question, “You think my memory’s been messed with? But I remember my childhood. I was sent abroad to study and only came back home at the age of 16. Then, I was trained to become the next inheritor.”
Qiao Qing wasn’t too surprised by that answer, “So why didn’t you ask me about Xiyan before? Why today?”
Fu Xiuyu said, “I had a dream a few days ago. It was about her. Though it was a dream, it felt so real. So I want to find out if we really did cross paths before.”
Qiao Qing coldly snickered, “You are getting engaged today. What’s the use of finding out more about her.”
Fu Xiuyu choked, “That was decided by my mom. I told her I wanted to delay it but she didn’t let me.”
