The firefox’s body quivered. After it lowered its head and thought for a while, it ended up walking up to Qiao Qing in a graceful manner. As it tried to please her, it stuck out its tongue out and licked the back of her hand.
‘Then, you be my owner.’
Qiao Qing froze.
Everyone else here revealed looks of shock. Mu Jinghang somehow showed up out of nowhere and rested his arm on Jun Yexuan’s shoulder, “Sister-in-law is insane. She’s an animal tamer? Another skill gained… huh? Third brother? Why does your face look like that?”
Jun Yexuan narrowed his eyes, “Perverted fox!”
Mu Jinghang, “…”
So he was jealous.
To be jealous over an animal… only his third brother was capable of this.
Mo Huan was ecstatic, “It’s docile now! Brother Gong!”
She then grabbed onto Gong Yi’s arm, “Hurry up and uncage it!”
Gong Yi made a gesture and a maid went up to open the cage.
The moment the cage opened, the firefox hopped out and landed itself on Qiao Qing’s shoulder.
Its fuzzy and giant tail curled around her neck to show her affection.
Mo Huan’s face darkened. Towards the little animal that was cozy on Qiao Qing’s shoulder, she opened her arms and clapped.
“I’m your new owner. Hurry up and come here.”
The little animal glared at her and showed no signs of friendliness. In its head, it thought, ‘What a stupid human!’.
“Oh my god! This animal knows what we are trying to do!” Mu Jinghang was in awe.
Mo Huan now looked concerned over the little firefox’s reaction. She turned this onto Qiao Qing, “What is the meaning of this?! Brother Gong said this firefox is for me to have! Yet you are hogging it and refusing to let go?!”
Gong Yi frowned at this. He now regretted his promise from back then.
Qiao Qing turned to look at the little firefox, “Get down. That’s your new owner.”
‘What?!’ The fur on the firefox stood up on their ends again. This damn girl was sending it away? How could that be?!
The firefox wrapped its tail around Qiao Qing’s neck tighter. With its clear eyes, it stared into Qiao Qing’s and declined her demand.
Mo Huan’s face darkened, “If that’s the case, then don’t blame me for doing this.”
She went up and grabbed onto the firefox.
The firefox went nuts over Mo Huan’s touch and clawed at her face.
“AH!” Mo Huan screamed in pain. She touched her face and retreated a few steps.
When she saw the blood that was in her hand, she screamed again, “My face! Ah! My face! My face has been ruined! Brother Gong! My face has been ruined! AHHH! Brother Gong! Call a doctor!”
She then grabbed onto Gong Yi’s arm, “Brother Gong, look at my face! This woman did not tame the firefox, she asked the firefox to ruin my looks! Brother Gong, you have to be on my side for this!”
Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen’s faces tensed up.
Impatiently, Gong Yi struggled out of her grasp and said to Wu Yuan, “Take her to a doctor.”
Mo Huan heard that Gong Yi had no intention to punish Qiao Qing and fell into utter disbelief, “Brother Gong!”
“It refused you as its owner means you aren’t meant to be,” Gong Yi’s tone was cold, “If you go see the doctor now, you may be able to salvage your face. If you keep waiting, your face may actually be ruined.”
Mo Huan froze at his words. After she glared at Qiao Qing, she left with Wu Yuan.
The little firefox jumped back onto Qiao Qing’s shoulder and swept its tail around Qiao Qing’s neck like it’s a scarf.
It then turned its head to peek at Qiao Qing with its damp large eyes.
