Gong Yi pushed Qiao Qing forward, “This is the new perfumer hired by us. She’s going to attend the perfume competition on behalf of the company and design a brand-new fragrance. Xu Lu was so furious she laughed, “CEO Gong, this joke isn’t funny.”
“The competition is happening soon, and the new product is nowhere near finished. Yet you want me, the lead perfumer, to assist a new employee?!”
“Does she have any products on her portfolio that I might know of? To place all the hope on herself and ask her to win against the Xu Corporation is a joke. She’s not even going to get through the first round, let alone win!”
“Even if the fragrance line isn’t the backbone of the Gong Corporation, we shouldn’t treat it this lightly?!”
Xu Lu was obviously furious and that was why she spoke so many lines that would offend her boss.

“If you dare to doubt my orders, then I can guarantee you that I can replace you in a second!”
Xu Lu appeared flustered now. She dared to speak to Gong Yi this way because she was the lead perfumer and they were counting on her to win the competition.
