Before the MC decided on who to give it to, Mo Huan stood up, “As the saying goes, ‘ladies first’. Since sister Pingting is the only woman out of the contestants who scored perfectly, of course, the bead should be hers!”
The MC looked over to Jun Yexuan and the others.
That was a bit of stretch, but it was sensible to award it to the only girl in this situation.
Plus, everyone here knew that Jun Yexuan and the other young masters only went up there to back up Qiao Qing. They probably didn’t actually want the bead that the sponsor didn’t even know the materials of. They could easily get more expensive things.
Who knew that before the MC could speak, Mu Jinghang shouted, “You never wrote it in the rules that the award would go to the girl if there’s a tie! Then I can also say, ‘majority rules’. We have three people from our side who scored perfectly!”
The MC froze.
The fox turned to Mu Jinghang and stuck up a toe.
You idiot did something right this time!
Mo Huan yelled, “That many men trying to take something from a woman?! What a joke!”
She then looked over to Xu Pingting, “Sister Pingting, you want that bead right? I’ll go get it for you!”
Mo Huan saw how that fox acted when it saw the bead. She wasn’t going to let Qiao Qing get anything! Even if it’s something for the fox!
Xu Pingting nodded shyly, “I do like that bead.”
Mo Huan was ecstatic as she walked up to the employee and tried to take the bead.
However, some things were just faster than she was. A ball of red fur attacked the employee.
The box that contained the bead fell to the ground. Then, the fox grabbed onto it with its front two paws.
“AH!! Damn this fox!!” Mo Huan was in shock and started to curse at the fox.
Everyone else found the fox to be very intriguing. They watched as the fox dashed back to Qiao Qing with the box, then somehow tossed it into her arms.
“Ack, ack, ack!”

Though Qiao Qing wasn’t sure why this fox insisted on her having this bead, the amount of effort it put in made her think this was important.
Mo Huan snickered, “Isn’t it low to use a fox to steal something? Even if sister Pingting has no priority right as a girl, there are no rules to say the other three should win!”
“Based on the score, all four of you are deserving of this bead, including sister Pingting!”
Qiao Qing heard this and stood up. She then pointed at the box, “If I shoot better than her, then I can keep this?”
Everyone froze at her words.
It took Mo Huan some time to regain herself as well, “Are you dumb?! Sister Pingting scored perfect scores! Every shot she made hit the center. How can you do better than her?! Plus, you know archery? If you do, then why didn’t you challenge before?!”
Qiao Qing ignored her and walked up to the front. She then said to the MC, “Since many people got a perfect score, the current scoring system is meaningless.”
“You could provide more targets to shoot at but then you’d have to place them further away or include obstacles, which would use a different set of skills as what others had to do just now.”
“Plus, that would mean all of us would have to re-compete. That’s just too troublesome.”
