The rift in the Immortal Sect grew larger and larger. As the rich spiritual energy leaked out, the sense of oppression grew deeper.
The Third Lord Xue’s family, who were close by, had absorbed too much spiritual energy. Their bodies, being ordinary, were overwhelmed by the pure and rich energy from the Immortal World. They swayed and their vision became blurry.
Seeing their pale skin and visible veins, Nanli realized the danger and immediately took out the Heaven Star Brush, drawing several talismans that could absorb spiritual energy and infused them into their bodies.
It’s often said that one should not overeat, and the same goes for spiritual energy--no matter how good it is, one cannot absorb it all. Ordinary people cannot refine and integrate spiritual energy into their bodies, and over-absorption could burst their bodies!
Fortunately, with Nanli’s talismans in place, the energy was being absorbed and she quickly cast another talisman to isolate the Xue family from the spiritual energy.

He had already stepped out of the Nether World. Despite the heavenly punishment, he was fearless.
"Don’t come out!" Nanli shouted, "If the heavenly lightning strikes, I won’t be able to protect you."
Qiu Hai instinctively obeyed, pulling his foot back. By the time he realized, the sword qi was already coming at them. He was filled with regret, thinking that he had been too obedient and quick to act on the ancestor’s commands.
Nanli’s sleeves fluttered as her gaze grew fierce. She raised her hand, sending out talismans, and formed a seal with her fingers. The sword qi struck, and the thin talismans quickly formed an array that brightened the surroundings, blocking the fierce sword qi from the Immortal World.
A laugh came from within the rift, saying only one word: "Slash!"
The power of the sword qi increased significantly, attempting to break through the array and claim Nanli’s life.
Nanli furrowed her brows, not daring to be careless. The power from her fingers maintained the array.
The wind grew fiercer, stinging her face. The sword qi and the array continued to clash.
Qiu Hai was increasingly anxious. Despite Nanli’s formidable talismans, he feared they wouldn’t hold much longer.
Ignoring the risk of being struck by lightning, he was determined to help Nanli through this crisis!
But outside the courtyard, a shout rang out: "A’Li!"
A dark figure appeared with the sound. Nanli looked up, surprised and pleased--it was Ye Siheng!
However, she didn’t dare to be distracted and didn’t even turn her head to look at him.
After Ye Siheng returned to Mu Nation and met with Qing Feng, he had rushed back to the capital. To his surprise, he arrived to find such a scene. She was in danger!
Ye Siheng wanted to help, but the powerful array blocked him, preventing him from advancing further.
The sword qi was like a massive sword descending, and she was barely holding it up. The sword pressed down inch by inch.
Ye Siheng looked up, his eyes cold and defiant. With the spiritual energy scattered around, he felt the energy in his dantian surging and his strength replenishing.
"What’s that?" Ye Siheng asked.
Qiu Hai was startled, "Huh? You’re asking me?"
"Who else would I ask but you?" Ye Siheng said, "A’Li can’t be distracted. Besides you, who else can answer this question?"
He recognized the Nether Sect and, judging by Qiu Hai’s attire and the emanating nether aura, it must be the Nether World Hell Lord.
Qiu Hai looked at him, grinding his teeth. "That’s the Immortal Sect. The people from the Immortal Sect want to kill the Ancestor. If you want to save the Ancestor, I’ll teach you a method."
Ye Siheng was annoyed at Qiu Hai’s slowness. "What are you stalling for?"
Qiu Hai smiled, "That’s the Immortal Sect, filled with petty and narrow-minded cultivators. Using this method will offend them thoroughly."
"Stop the chatter!" Ye Siheng’s face darkened with anger. "So what if it offends them? I’m A’Li’s husband, and I’ll protect her!"
Qiu Hai, hearing this, suppressed his smile and scrutinized Ye Siheng with a hint of disdain.
He raised his hand and produced a longbow, handing it to Ye Siheng. "Let’s see if your actions match your words."
Ye Siheng took the longbow. Qiu Hai waved his sleeve, and Ghost Fire flew out, forming arrows.
"This is the most powerful Ghost Fire from the Nether World. It can burn away spiritual energy and all celestial herbs. It’s hard to extinguish and difficult to block. It will cause significant damage to the Immortal World," Qiu Hai said, looking at the Immortal Sect. "If you have the courage, shoot this arrow into the Immortal Sect!"
Ye Siheng, expected to hesitate, did not falter. He grabbed the Ghost Fire arrow without hesitation. Immediately, he felt the pain of the Ghost Fire burning his soul.
His face turned pale, and his hand trembled.

Ye Siheng calmed himself, letting his dantian energy rise to alleviate the burning pain. He drew the longbow and aimed the Ghost Fire arrow at the Immortal Sect rift.

The Immortal World’s father figure sneered, "The fire of the Nether World cannot penetrate the Immortal Sect."
This Immortal Sect was protected by ninety-nine layers of talismans.
Qiu Hai crossed his arms and smiled, thinking that Ye Siheng was from the Immortal World, and the ninety-nine layers of talismans were set by him. How could the arrow not penetrate?
Sure enough, as the Ghost Fire arrow approached the Immortal Sect, layers of talismanic arrays lit up in resistance.
In the sky, strong winds and swirling dark clouds erupted, with lightning snakes weaving through the clouds and thunder roaring continuously.
The Ghost Fire arrow was momentarily blocked, but it carried another aura, small and weak, yet causing the talismanic array to falter, the light dimming slowly!
Then, the Ghost Fire arrow crossed the Immortal Sect rift, splitting into clusters of flames and scattering throughout the Immortal World.
"How could this be?!" The Immortal World’s father figure was shocked, even forgetting to control the sword qi.
The sword qi dissipated instantly, giving Nanli a moment’s relief.
"Siheng, send another one to the Immortal World!" Qiu Hai was overjoyed, grinning broadly. He raised his hand and gathered another Ghost Fire arrow. "Burn the Immortal World to the ground, scatter all the spiritual energy, and let’s vent some anger for the Ancestor!"
Ye Siheng, though pale, reached out to take the arrow.
Nanli quickly stepped forward, grabbing it, and sternly scolded, "Qiu Hai, do you want me to become a widow? This Ghost Fire is not something he can handle!"
Qiu Hai pouted, looking quite wronged. "He has strong spiritual energy and a resilient soul. It’s not so easily burned away."
"A’Li, I’m fine," Ye Siheng’s voice had weakened. He was also worried. "Don’t take it."
"The Ghost Fire from hell cannot harm me," Nanli said, taking the longbow and placing the Ghost Fire arrow on it.
She lifted her chin slightly, her voice clear and resolute. "This time, I’ll handle it!"
