Yue Yunlan was utterly shocked. She couldn't believe that a black donkey—or rather, a talking black donkey—seemed to be as powerful as her father!

The black donkey was so angry that it started barking like a dog. If it weren't for Ling Feng, it would have definitely given these two women a faceful of "gold."

Qiao Qiao, with her sharp tongue, was not intimidated by the despicable donkey and continued to argue fiercely.

The despicable donkey immediately protested.

However, to save her own life, she had no choice but to hand over the Star Shining Pearl.
With a flick of its hoof, the black donkey snatched the Star Shining Pearl and swallowed it in one gulp. Then, it smirked and said, "Alright, you can get lost now."
"Th-thank you, Lord Divine Donkey."
The Lin Demon Princess, feeling as if she had been pardoned, scrambled away without daring to look back.
She had already concluded that Ling Feng must be a mysterious offspring of the Three-Headed Demonic Jiao clan, disguised as a human to carry out some secret mission in the human realm.
Otherwise, if he were truly human, how could he possibly spare a member of the demon race?

Ling Feng shrugged. "I can't control this despicable donkey either. Besides, letting the Lin Demon Princess go doesn't really harm us. We didn't lose anything, right?"
"Hmph, only you would think that way. Humans and demons are sworn enemies," Qiao Qiao muttered.
"Oh? So, does that mean that this divine beast should kill you?" The black donkey's eyes flashed coldly as it glared at Qiao Qiao.
The half-step demon emperor's aura instantly made Qiao Qiao tremble, nearly causing her to collapse.
Perhaps, even the despicable donkey itself didn't realize it had a deep-seated bias towards the demon race.
It was the first time Ling Feng had seen the black donkey so fierce. He patted its shoulder and said calmly, "Alright, black donkey, Qiao Qiao didn't mean it that way."

The black donkey laughed so hard that it sounded like a duck quacking.
Ling Feng was speechless. The despicable nature of this donkey always caught people off guard.
"Alright, thanks for your help. You can go now. I'll call you if I need anything." Ling Feng said coolly.
To be honest, he didn't think having this despicable donkey around all the time was a good thing. If the donkey discovered Yan Cangtian's medicinal herb garden, given its greedy nature, it would surely devour all the spirit herbs.
