"W-What about you?" Xiaomeng asked, sensing something amiss as she clutched Jin Jiao's arm tightly.
"I am a warrior of the Three-Headed Demonic Jiao clan!" Jin Jiao's eyes revealed a hint of tragic determination. "I will fight alongside the chief and everyone else!"
"No, I want to help my father too!" Xiaomeng cried, shaking her head repeatedly.
"The battlefield has no place for the weak!" Jin Jiao coldly shook off Xiaomeng's arm, gritting his teeth. "Go to the back mountain! Hide! Now, go!"
His voice trembled slightly; he knew the grim fate awaiting the Three-Headed Demonic Jiao clan. This was the only way to ensure Xiaomeng's survival.
Frightened, Xiaomeng ran through the hidden path in the cave towards the back mountain, her tears streaming down her face which left Jin Jiao with a heavy heart.
"Farewell, Xiaomeng."
Jin Jiao took a deep breath, turning back with only determination and resolve in his eyes.
This was the bloodline of a warrior from the Three-Headed Demonic Jiao clan. Even in the face of certain death, they would not retreat!

The dust settled, revealing an enormous golden-furred beast over a hundred zhang[1] tall. It pounded its chest with its fists furiously.
The giant beast resembled an ape but had a third vertical eye on its forehead. Its aura was terrifying, and its movements caused whirlwinds. The inscriptions in its three enormous eyes were quickly overtaken by blood-red light, indicating it had lost all reason.
